Welcome to Fizzbin!

Fizzbin is an exciting game that was made popular in Star Trek. Although the show didn’t provide specific rules, fans have come up with their own version. Fizzbin is all about luck – it’s a game where you use cards to determine your score. The player with the highest score wins!

Getting Started

First, the dealer shuffles the deck of cards. Then, they start dealing the cards to each player. The dealer goes in a clockwise direction, starting with themselves. Each player will receive six cards, except for the player on the dealer’s right, who gets seven cards.

Now it’s time to start playing!

How to Play

This game is super quick. Once all the cards are handed out, the person with the best hand wins. It’s a game of chance, so there’s not much you can do to change the outcome. If you happen to get three Jacks, you’re automatically out.

Hands

Half Fizzbin – when you have two matching cards. The higher the rank of the card, the better your hand.

Three Quarter Fizzbin – a Half Fizzbin, a King, and a two.

Full Fizzbin – two sets of matching cards and two unmatched cards.

Shralk – the third Jack you have. Having one will get you disqualified.

Royal Fizzbin – Two pairs of face cards and two unmatched cards.

The hands are ranked in the following order, from lowest to highest: Shralk, Half Fizzbin, Three Quarter Fizzbin, Full Fizzbin, and Royal Fizzbin.

END OF GAME

The game ends pretty quickly. Once the cards are dealt, each player will look at their hand. The player with the best hand wins the game!
