Welcome to Aztack!
Hey there! In Aztack, I’m on a mission to build the tallest temples. Why? Well, because I want to impress the high priest and come out on top! The key to victory lies in stacking stones that match each other. But here’s the twist: I’m always keeping an eye out for ways to block my opponent’s moves. After all, in this game, strategic moves are the way to go!
Let’s Get Started!
So, how do we set things up? Easy! First, we need to place all the stones facedown in the middle of the playing area. Once they’re all together, we give them a good shuffle. Now, it’s time to create the base of the pyramid. We choose twelve stones and line them up in two rows of six. Oh, and just to make things interesting, each color needs to show up on at least two stones. Don’t worry, you can swap stones if you need to.
So, here’s how the game works: each of us will start by drawing twelve stones and placing them face up beside us. We can then decide who goes first. Ready to begin?
Let the Game Begin!
During the game, we’ll take turns placing one stone at a time. We can only place stones if they have the same color or matching glyph. There are rules we need to follow when it comes to stone placement.
To add a stone, we have to place it across two existing stones. This will create a bridge that covers up the glyphs underneath. The stone needs to match both colors or glyphs, but the orientation of the glyphs doesn’t matter. And remember, the stones must lay flat – no tipping allowed!
If I can’t place one of my stones, I have to pass my turn. The game keeps going until one player is able to place all of their stones.
THE END
The game ends when a player uses up all of their stones. The first player to do this wins the game. But, sometimes, neither player can make any more moves. In that case, the player with the fewest stones wins!
