Bed Bugs Game Rules
Hey there! Have you ever played the exciting game of Bed Bugs? If you haven’t, let me introduce you to this amazing game and walk you through the rules.
So, what’s the goal of Bed Bugs? It’s simple – you need to be the first player to collect all the bed bugs and put them in your bug jar. Sounds fun, right? Let’s get started!
To play Bed Bugs, you’ll need the game board, bug grabber, bug jar, and of course, the bed bugs. The game board is where all the action happens. It’s designed to look like a bedroom with different spaces for the bugs to hide.
Each player gets a bug jar, which is where you’ll keep the bugs you collect. The bug grabber is a cool tool shaped like a hand that you’ll use to catch the bugs.
Now that you have all the equipment ready, it’s time to set up the game board. Place all the bugs in their hiding spots on the board. Make sure to follow the instructions on the bug cards to determine where each bug goes.
Once the bugs are in place, it’s time to start playing. Take turns spinning the spinner and moving your bug grabber around the board. When you land on a space with a bug, use your bug grabber to catch it and place it in your bug jar.
But be careful! Some spaces on the board have special instructions. For example, you might have to skip a turn or swap bugs with another player. These special spaces add excitement and strategy to the game.
The game continues until one player collects all the bugs and fills their bug jar. That player is the winner! Congratulations!
Playing Bed Bugs is not only exciting but also helps improve your hand-eye coordination and strategic thinking. Plus, it’s a great way to spend time with family and friends.
So, what are you waiting for? Gather your friends, set up the game board, and let the bug-catching adventure begin! Get ready to have a buzzing good time with Bed Bugs!

- First, I need to peel off the name-of-game label from the label sheet and attach it to the foot of the bed, just like it’s shown on the back of the package.
- Next, I need to insert the playing surface into the bed frame. But before that, I need to make sure that the two battery wires are lying inside the plastic channels of the bed frame. Once that’s done, I can insert the tabs of the cardboard playing surface into the slots of the bed frame, just as it’s shown:

To make the motor work, you’ll need two “C” cell batteries. For the best performance, it’s recommended to use alkaline batteries. Here’s how you can insert the batteries:

So, you’ve got your batteries ready to go. Now it’s time to put them in. Let’s make sure we do it right.
First things first, grab the battery lid. Notice those two handy tabs sticking out? We’re going to need those.
Next, take a good look at the bed. Two little slots are waiting for the lid’s tabs. Time to make the magic happen.
Alright, here comes the fun part. Grab those batteries you’ve got and pop them into the bed. Nice and snug.
Once those batteries are in, it’s time to bring out the lid. Those tabs are going to slot right into place, securing everything for a smooth fit.
And there you have it, batteries loaded and ready to go. Now go on and enjoy whatever you’re powering up!

Note: Make sure to insert the batteries correctly in the motor. The motor won’t work if the battery tops are facing each other or if the battery bottoms are facing each other. To test the motor, slide the ON/OFF switch to ON. If the motor runs, slide the switch to OFF. If the motor doesn’t run, check the batteries again.
Let’s Play!
Hey there! Are you ready for some bug-catching fun? Well, get ready to slide that ON/OFF switch to ON and let the games begin!
Here’s how it goes: one of us will shout out a color – red, blue, yellow, or green. As soon as we do, we’ll all use our trusty tongs to snatch up as many bugs of that color as possible. It’s a wild race against time!
Don’t worry about taking turns or waiting your round – we all go bug-hunting at the same time. So, things can get pretty wild and crazy!
Once we’ve caught all the bugs of the announced color, any bugs that escaped or bugs of the wrong color get tossed right back onto the bed. We’ve gotta keep things fair and make sure we’re only capturing the right bugs.
Then, it’s time to switch things up! The player on the left of the youngest one gets to pick the next color, and we all start the frenzy of bug-catching all over again.
So, are you ready to see who’s the fastest bug snatcher around? Let’s play and have a blast!
Hey there! Let’s play a fun game called Hunt and Capture. The goal is to catch all the bugs by following the rules below:
First, take turns capturing bugs until all of them have been caught. The player on the left always announces the next color to be captured. Remember, uncaptured bugs or incorrectly captured bugs should be returned to the playing surface before announcing the next color.
Here’s an important tip: If the bedbugs are not jumping up and down during play, you may need to flex the bed’s cardboard playing surface. Simply place your fingers underneath the bed frame, then gently pop out the playing surface board. Next, bend it so that the sides are higher than the middle section. This should do the trick!
On the other hand, if the bedbugs are jumping out of the bed too much, you can flex the cardboard playing surface in the opposite direction. In this case, make the middle section of the board higher than the sides. Once you’ve done that, insert the tabs of the playing surface back into the bed’s slots. The bedbugs should stay where they belong now!
The Conclusion of the Game: Let’s Count Our Bugs!
Now that the game has reached its end, it’s time to find out who caught the most bugs. You and the other players will need to tally up your captures and see which person emerged as the victorious bug hunter!
