Imagine spending quality time with your friends, hanging out and having loads of fun. That’s exactly what SKRUVVI offers. It’s the perfect game for a group of friends who want to enjoy each other’s company while plotting against one another.

Let’s Get Set Up!

First, we need to divide players into teams of two. How you choose your teams is entirely up to you. There are no specific rules for team selection. Once the teams are formed, the dealer will shuffle the deck and deal out all the cards except for the bottom four.

The four remaining cards form the Kitty, which is placed in the middle of the table. Now, we’re ready to start the game!

How to Play

Alright, let me break it down for you. The game is split into three sets consisting of eight deals each. Now, in the first four deals, we have something called the Kitty, but it’s not there in the second set of four, and then it’s back again in the third set, and so on.

Now, let’s get started with the game. To kick things off, we randomly pick a player to lead the trick. The trick is like a round, you know? The other players then take turns in a clockwise order, trying to beat the trick by playing a card of the same suit that has a higher rank. Makes sense, right?

But here’s the thing. While players can play any card they want, if they have a card of the same suit as the one that’s been played, they must play a card from that suit. After three passes, where no one could play a winning card, the last player who played a card ends up winning the trick. Got it?

When you’re playing a game called Kitty, something special happens. You get to collect all the cards that have been played, including the Kitty. Then, you get to choose four cards and share them with your partner. Your partner gets to keep one of the cards and give the other three to the other players. Everyone gets to choose one card from this selection, so that everyone has a fair hand.

After each hand, we count up the points and write them down. This is how the game goes for 24 hands.

The Game Ends

Once we have played 24 hands, the game comes to an end. We add up the points and compare them. The player with the most points is the winner!
