Welcome to the Game of Sevens!
Hey there! I’m here to introduce you to an awesome game called Sevens. It’s a super fun dice game that will really get your brain working! In this game, it’s all about taking risks and seeing how many points you can score. Let’s dive in and start rolling!
How to Play
First, let’s decide how many rounds we want to play. Once we’ve got that figured out, we’re ready to roll!
Every player gets to roll six dice. The player with the highest total gets to go first. Exciting, right?!
Now, it’s time for your turn! You have three chances to roll the dice and rack up as many points as you can. On your first turn, go ahead and roll all six dice. But remember, there’s a catch! If you have any two dice that add up to seven, you have to remove them. For example, if you have a 6 and a 1, or a 5 and a 2, those two dice are out.
When I remove those dice, I have a decision to make. I can either roll the dice that are left or keep them as my score for the round. If I choose to roll the remaining dice, I go through the same process of taking out any two dice combinations that add up to 7.
Lastly, if I want to, I have one more chance to roll the remaining dice. After removing any combinations that add up to 7, I have to keep whatever dice are left as my score.
Let’s say I’m playing a dice game. In the first round, I roll the dice and get a 1-2-4-6-3-3. According to the rules, I have to remove the 1-6 and the 4-3, so I’m left with a 2-3. Now, I have a choice: I can either keep the total of 5 as my score or roll those two dice again. I decide to take my chances and roll again. This time, I get a 1-1. Not happy with this score, I decide to roll one last time. And guess what? I get a 6-6! Talk about luck! So my score for this round is 12.
Now here’s another scenario: let’s say I’m left with only two dice, and I decide to roll them. But instead of getting a good roll, I end up with a total of 7. According to the rules, in this case, I earn zero points and those dice are removed from the game.
At the end of each turn, I add up the points I earned to my total score. Then it’s the next player’s turn, and we continue playing until we’ve completed the predetermined number of rounds.
And the Winner Is…
The player with the highest score at the end of all the rounds is the winner. In case of a tie, the tied players have to keep playing until someone breaks the tie.
