LIKES AND DISLIKES: DRINKING EDITION

GETTING TO KNOW YOUR PARTY

Who doesn’t love a good party? But sometimes it’s hard to strike up meaningful conversations with everyone. That’s where Likes and Dislikes comes in. It’s a fun and easy way to break the ice and learn about each other while enjoying a drink or two!

HOW TO GET STARTED

So here’s what we’ll do. First, we each write down a list of things we like and things we don’t like. For example, you might put down things like summer, espresso martinis, backpacking, hoodies, and reality TV under “Likes”. Under “Dislikes”, you can write down things like elevator music, techno, Marvel movies, TikTok dances, and dirty dishes. Once we’ve written our lists, we fold them up and put them all together in a bowl or hat. It’s important to mix them up really well so we don’t know whose list is whose.

Have you ever played a fun guessing game with your friends? Let me tell you all about it! Here’s how it works:

We start by choosing a random player to be the guesser. They take a slip of paper from a bowl and read the list out loud to everyone. Then, we all get ready to guess who wrote the list.

We count down from 3, and when we reach 1, we point at the player we think is the list writer. It’s exciting to see who everyone chooses!

After the pointing frenzy, the player who actually wrote the list reveals themselves. If we guessed wrong, it’s time for some sips! Each player who made a wrong guess takes a sip from their drink. But here’s the twist – if all of us miraculously guess correctly, the list writer has to take a shot!

Then, it’s the next player’s turn. They pick another slip of paper from the bowl and read it out loud to continue the game. It’s an endless cycle of laughter and anticipation!

We keep playing until we’ve read all the slips and everyone has had a chance to guess. It’s so much fun trying to figure out who wrote which list!

That’s the end of the game!
