How to Get Started

Getting started is super easy! Just set up the Connect Four game like you usually do. After that, grab some tokens and write different fractions on them. If you’re just starting, try using thirds, quarters, and fifths. You can use masking tape to write the fractions, and they can be easily removed or changed to make the game more challenging.

Once you’ve labeled the tokens, you’re all set and ready to play!

GAMEPLAY

When I play this game, I’ll take turns with other players to place tokens on the board. The objective is to make a line of my tokens, depending on the fraction we’re playing with. If it’s a third, I just need three tokens in a straight line to score points. If it’s a fifth, I must get five tokens in a row to win points.

Each player will have a chance to steal points from one another by completing their lines. Once all the spaces on the board are filled, the game will end, and we will start tallying the scores.

THE GAME IS OVER!

When all the spaces are filled, the game comes to an end. It’s time to tally up your scores. The player with the highest number of points will be the winner!
