Anomia game rules – how to play anomia

Welcome to Anomia!

Anomia is the perfect game if you’re someone who knows a lot of random facts! Pay close attention and see if your card matches any of the other players’. If it does, you’ve got to try and answer before your opponent does! Be quick to answer, win the card, and if you win enough cards, you’ll win the whole game!

Setting Up the Game

First, gather all the players and have them form a circle. Take one of the decks, shuffle it really well, and split it into two equal decks. Put these two piles within easy reach of all the players. These will be the draw piles. Now you’re all set to start playing!

How to Play

So, here’s how this game works: I’m the first player to take a turn because I shuffled the cards. I’ll pick a card from any pile and put it in front of me, facing up. The cards have words and symbols on them. Now it’s your turn. We’ll go around in a circle, and each player will pick a card from a pile.

When you pick a card, if nobody else has a card with matching symbols, the next player picks a card. But if two players have cards with matching symbols, it’s a showdown! We have to try and give an example of the thing found on the other player’s card before they can answer what’s on ours.

If I have more than one card in front of me, the last card I drew will go on top. The same goes for you, too!

Hey there! Let me explain to you how this game works. It’s pretty simple, I promise! The loser gives their card to the winner, who adds it to their pile of cards that they’ve won. But here’s the tricky part – the card the loser reveals might start another match, so keep your eyes peeled!

Now, when wild cards come into play, things get even more exciting! If both players have those wild symbols, they have to face off against each other. It’s a showdown!

We keep going like this until there are no more cards in the draw pile. And then it’s the end of the game. So sad, but don’t worry, there’s a winner to be crowned!

END OF GAME

When all the cards in the draw piles are used up, the game is officially over. And who’s the winner, you ask? Well, it’s the player who has the most cards in their winning pile. They’re the champion!
