Welcome to ADSUMUDI!
Hey there! Let me tell you all about this awesome game called ADSUMUDI. It’s all about using your math skills to solve equations and collect cards. Sounds fun, right?
Let’s Get Set Up!
Here’s what you need to do to start playing. First, take all the cards and make a neat stack in the middle of the play area. Got it? Great!
Now, it’s time to choose your level of play. You have four options: easy, medium, hard, and monstrously hard. Each level has a specific number of the five given numbers that you need to use to solve the equation. Cool, huh?
How to Play
Now that we’re all set up, let’s jump into the gameplay. Pay close attention to the card on top of the deck. Your goal is to use your numbers and symbols to create equations that will give you the number in the middle as the answer. Exciting, isn’t it?
Hey there! Let’s tackle the challenge on the card together, shall we?
For the Easy level, you just need to use two of the numbers provided. You could subtract 2 from 13, which gives you 11. Alternatively, you could add 4 to 7, and that also equals 11.
If you want to up the ante to the Medium level, you’ll have to use three of the given numbers. For example, you could add 13 and 9, and then divide the sum by 2. That gives you 11 as well.
Now, if you’re feeling brave and want to take on the challenge at the Hard level, you’ll need to use four of the numbers. One way to reach 11 is to multiply 7 and 9, and then subtract the product of 13 and 4. Voila!
But if you really want to show off your math skills and go for the Monstrously hard level, you’re gonna have to use all five of the numbers. You could multiply 4 and 2, then add 9 and 7, and finally subtract 13. And guess what? That gives you 11, too!
Just bear in mind that each number can only be used once per equation. Keep that in mind as you crunch your numbers!
Now, here’s the fun part. As soon as you figure out an equation based on the difficulty level you’ve chosen, shout out the word ‘ADSUMUDI’. This will give you the floor to prove your math skills.
If your math/equation is correct, congratulations! You get to keep the card from the top of the deck as your very own.
When we play this game, we keep moving forward with the next card from the deck. And here’s the thing: if the equation is incorrect or doesn’t add up, we don’t give up. We keep playing until one of us figures out the math problem on our chosen difficulty level. You know what’s great? There’s no punishment for getting the answer wrong. So keep on playing, have fun, and sharpen those math skills!
Exciting Ways to Mix Up Your Game
Instead of sticking to the same old routine, why not try something new and keep the excitement alive? There are alternative ways you can play this game that will add an extra element of challenge and fun to your experience.
One way you can switch it up is by dividing the cards into different difficulty levels. Take a look at the white stars at the top of each card. These stars indicate the level of difficulty. For example, two stars means medium difficulty and three stars means hard difficulty.
Now, instead of everyone playing at different levels in the same round, you can have players in each category of difficulty compete against each other. The challenge is to be the first to come up with a correct equation for each card. Start with using only two numbers and gradually increase to all five numbers.
By introducing these alternative ways to play, you’ll inject an exciting new energy into your game. It’s a fresh twist that will keep you engaged and motivated to push your mathematical skills to the next level. So why not give it a try and see how it elevates your gaming experience?
Here’s another fun way to play the game. Grab a timer, some paper, and a pencil. Once the timer starts, it’s a race to see who can write down the most equations using the numbers. Each correct equation earns you points based on the number used. For example, if the target answer is 12 and you write 6×2 or 20+4÷2, you’ll get two points for the first equation and three points for the second one.
After a set number of rounds, the player with the most points wins!
But wait! There’s another way to play. Instead of competing against each other, players can work together as a team. It’s a great way to learn and practice teamwork skills.
How to Score
Every time you win a card, you get a point. Just keep the cards to keep track of your points.
End of the Game
If you can solve the equation on five cards, you win the game. But be careful, the game will end if someone else beats you to it.
You and your friends can agree on how many cards it takes to win the game. You can make it easier or more challenging, depending on what you like.
Let me tell you about Bassey Onwuanaku. She’s from Nigeria and she loves learning and games. In fact, she created her own educational games café just for kids. Bassey also cares about animals and wants to protect them. She’s so passionate about games that she’s even working on creating her own board games for education.
