The Simon Game Rules

Let’s dive into the exciting rules of the Simon game! This game is all about testing your memory and concentration skills as you repeat a sequence of colors and sounds. Get ready for some brain-stretching fun!

The game consists of four colorful buttons – red, blue, yellow, and green. When the game begins, Simon, the genius behind this challenge, will light up one of the buttons and play a corresponding sound. Your task is to carefully observe and remember this pattern.

Now it’s your turn to mimic Simon’s moves. You’ll need to press the same button that Simon lit up, following the exact sequence. But be careful! Simon won’t make it easy for you. With each round, he’ll add a new button to the sequence, making it longer and more challenging.

You’ll need to pay close attention and focus as the game progresses. One small mistake, and it’s game over! Simon will celebrate your success with a triumphant sound when you complete a round, and then it’s time to move on to the next one.

As you conquer each round, your memory skills are put to the test. With each successful sequence replicated, the game builds your confidence and challenges you to remember longer and more complex patterns.

The key to mastering the Simon game is to stay calm and concentrate. Take your time to observe and internalize each pattern before making your move. Remember, there’s no rush – Simon will patiently wait for you to respond.

Welcome to Simon Says!

It’s just me and you having some fun!

What’s the Aim of the Game?

I’m going to show you a pattern of colors, and your challenge is to repeat the pattern accurately.

Playing Alone

  1. Turn me on by sliding the ON/OFF switch to ON. Set the Game Selector switch to “1”, and then choose a Skill Level switch between 1 and 4.
  2. Press the START button. I’ll show you the first color pattern. To repeat it, just press the same colored lens.
  3. I’ll repeat the pattern and add another color. Remember the sequence and press each color lens in the correct order.
  4. I’ll keep adding to the sequence. Keep your concentration sharp, and repeat the pattern exactly.
  5. Keep playing and try to remember each sequence of signals correctly. Simon will start speeding up after the 5th, 9th, and 13th signals.
  6. If you don’t repeat a sequence exactly or take more than 5 seconds to repeat a signal, Simon will make a “RAZZ” sound. This means you lost and the sequence ends.

The End of the Game

When you’ve completed the specified number of sequences for Skill Levels 1, 2, 3, or 4, Simon will acknowledge your achievement with six short signals from the last lens you pressed.

A Game for 2 or More Players

If you have friends who want to join in the fun, you can team up against Simon or compete with each other.

  1. Decide who will take the first turn.
  2. Each player will take turns repeating Simon’s signals, just as described before.

Game 2: Player Adds

For 1 or More Players.

The Aim of the Game

The goal is to create a longer and longer sequence of signals.

Remember: In this game, Simon initiates the first signal. After that, it’s up to you to come up with your own sequence!

After the first signal, Simon will either make the “RAZZ” sound or give you an enthusiastic salute to indicate victory.

1-player Game

  1. Flip the ON/OFF switch to ON, the Game Selector switch to “2” and the Skill Level switch to “4”.
  2. Press the START button. Simon will give you the first signal.
  3. Repeat Simon’s signal and promptly add one more. In this game, you don’t need to wait for Simon to repeat the signals!
  4. Repeat the first two signals and add another one.
  5. Let’s start the game by repeating the signals of the previous sequence and adding one more. See if you can reach the maximum sequence of 31!
  6. If you make a mistake or take longer than 5 seconds to play a signal, you’ll hear a “RAZZ” sound, indicating that the game is over.
  7. Now, press the LAST button and count the number of signals as it plays back the longest sequence. This will be your score.
  8. If you want to play again, just follow Steps 2 to 4. If you manage to reach 31 signals, Simon will celebrate your success with six short signals.

For a game with 2 or More Players:

  1. Follow Steps 1 and 2 as mentioned above.
  2. Player 1 starts by repeating the first signal and adding one more.
  3. Player 2 then repeats the first two signals and adds one more.
  4. The game continues in a clockwise direction, with each player repeating the previous sequence and adding one more signal.

First, let me explain the rules of a game called “RAZZ.” It’s a fun game that anyone can play, and it only takes a few people to get started. Here’s how to play:

– Every player has to pay close attention and be ready to make quick moves. If you make a mistake or take too long to make a move, you’ll hear a funny “RAZZ” sound, and you’ll be out of the game. But don’t worry, you can always join in again for the next round by pressing the START button.

– The game continues until there’s only one player left standing. That player is the winner!

It’s a simple game, but it can be a lot of fun. So gather your friends and get ready to play “RAZZ” – it’s a sure way to have a great time!

Game 3: Pick Your Color

For 2 to 4 Players.

Objective

Your goal is to accurately repeat the longest sequence of signals.

4-player Game

  1. First, slide the ON/OFF switch to ON, the Game Selector switch to “3”, and the Skill Level switch to “4”. The longest possible sequence is 31 signals.
  2. Each player selects a color lens and will only press that color during the game.
  3. Press the START button. Simon will give the first signal.
  4. The player who chose that color must repeat the signal.
  5. Play continues like Game 1, but each player only presses their chosen color in the correct order.
  6. If you press your color out of order or wait more than 5 seconds to press, you’ll hear the “RAZZ” sound, and your color is out of the game.

Simon, the electronic memory game that has been entertaining people for years. The game consists of a round, dome-shaped base with four color lenses – red, yellow, green, and blue. These lenses light up and emit a distinctive musical tone. The game is simple but challenging, as you try to mimic the sequences of light and sound created by Simon. It’s a game that tests your memory and attention skills while providing hours of fun.

To get started, press the “START” button on Simon. Simon will begin the game by lighting up and playing a sequence of signals using the colored lenses. Your goal is to pay close attention and then repeat the sequence in the correct order. Each time you successfully replicate Simon’s sequence, he will add another signal to the sequence, increasing the difficulty.

As the game progresses, the sequences become longer and more complex. You must stay focused and remember the order of the signals. If you make a mistake and reproduce the sequence incorrectly, Simon will let you know by playing a distinct sound and lighting up the incorrect lens. The game will then end, and you will have to start again from the beginning.

Simon is a great game to play alone or with friends. You can challenge yourself to beat your own high score or compete with others to see who can memorize and reproduce the longest sequence. It’s a game that keeps your brain sharp and improves your ability to remember and recall information.

Simon offers different variations depending on the number of players. For example, in a 2-player game, each player chooses two color lenses. If one of your colors is eliminated, you can continue playing with the remaining color. In a 3-player game, each player chooses a color from the three remaining lenses. Simon will give the first signal, which the player with that color will repeat.

The game continues until there is only one player left. The last player standing is the winner! Simon will celebrate the victory by playing six short signals in the winner’s color.

So, if you’re looking for a fun and challenging game that exercises your memory and attention skills, Simon is the perfect choice. Give it a try and see how far you can go in mastering Simon’s sequences. Can you beat your own record and become the ultimate Simon champion? Let the memory battle begin!
