In this game, the goal is simple: be the first person to reach the Finish space by earning the most points. It’s all about strategy and quick thinking.

Setting Up

First things first, everyone needs to pick a mover. Each player should choose a mover that represents them and grab the seven guessing tokens that match the color of their mover. Don’t forget to grab a pencil and a few sheets of paper from the drawing pad!

Once everyone has their mover and guessing tokens ready, it’s time to set up the game board. Start by placing all the movers on the Start space. Then, turn on the timer and place the card box next to it.

Let’s Get Started!

First, we all need to draw a card and place it in front of us without peeking. It’s important not to look at the card just yet!

Before we begin, one player will choose either purple or orange as the color for this round. Everyone must use that color. Each round, a different player gets to pick the color.

Now, turn your card over so that the chosen color is facing you. Ready? Let’s go!

1. So, when we’re all set, let’s press that button on the timer. You’ll hear three BEEPS, followed by a DING.
2. Once the DING goes off, it’s time to flip your card and take a look at the other side. But be careful not to let anyone else catch a glimpse! Now, you’ve got to make a drawing that represents the phrase on the other side. And remember, you’ve only got six seconds to do it! When the timer BUZZES, you have to put your pencil down right away.
3. Now, the player who picked the card color has to do the following steps:

• So, first things first. I need you to collect all the cards, but keep them face-down. Don’t peek!
• Now, go ahead and draw a card from the card box. This is what they call a “decoy” card. Take that card and mix it in with the cards you collected from the players.
• Alright, it’s time to reveal the cards. Turn them all face-up. And here’s a fun part – assign a letter to each card by tucking it under the edge of the game board, just like this. But make sure you only see the color selected for this round.
• Now, gather up all the drawings from the players and put them in the center of the table. It doesn’t matter if you know who drew which drawing. Because of the sneaky decoy card, there should be one less drawing than there are cards.

Okay, now it’s time for everyone to make their guesses. Each player will place their guessing token face-down on one of the drawings, including their own. But remember, you can only place one guessing token per drawing. And no peeking or discussing your guesses!

One at a time, we take turns flipping our tokens to reveal the correct letter on our drawings. If we guess correctly, we flip all the tokens on that drawing and earn points. Check out the back page for more details on scoring. To start a new round, we discard our cards and draw new ones. Keep playing until someone reaches the Finish space.

When we put the correct token on a drawing, we earn 2 points. And every drawing gets an extra point for each player who correctly identifies it. We move one space on the game board for every point we score.

The game ends when a player makes it to the Finish space at the end of a round. That player becomes the winner.
