Note: If you want to make the game harder, use only 26 cards instead of 28. For an extra challenge, use only 24 cards.
How to Win
The goal is to collect enough points to reach 60 VP before the last card is drawn from the Timer deck. You have 14 turns to do this.
How to Play
I’m gonna show you what to do after your turn. Here are the steps:
1. Get the top card from the Timer deck. Check its number and remove the Construction card and the Public Contract that are in the same position on the board.
Example: Let’s say you draw a red 2 from the Timer. You remove the second Construction card and the second Public Contract card from the board. Then, you draw a blue 3 from the Timer. This time, you remove the fifth Construction card from the board (because 2+3 equals 5), but you don’t remove a Public Contract card.
Example: You have a red 2 and a blue 3. You decide to build 3 red floors. Since you built a Ground Floor tile, you put the VP token on an empty roof of your choice.
Remember, the cards are only refilled after you build tiles!
And that’s the end of the game!
In a solo game, the end doesn’t come when all six houses are finished, like in a two-player game.
Here’s how the game ends in this solo variant: it’s over when the last card is drawn from the Timer after steps 1 – 4. To win, you need to have 60 or more victory points (VP).
If you win, add the points you get by completing Private Contract cards to your score. Remember your score and try to beat it next time!
If you lose, don’t count any points from the Private Contracts. Don’t worry, you’ll do better next time!
