Now, here’s the deal. The Diddly Game is a thrilling adventure where you compete against your friends to see who can complete challenges the fastest. The game consists of various levels, each with its own set of tasks.
To win the Diddly Game, you have to complete each level by successfully finishing the tasks within a specific time limit. It can get pretty intense, but that’s what makes it so much fun!
Now, let me explain how the challenges work. Each challenge is designed to test your skills and quick thinking. They can range from solving puzzles to performing physical tasks. Don’t worry, though, because the game provides hints and guidance along the way. You’ll never be left feeling lost!
Whenever you complete a challenge, you earn points. These points will add up throughout the game, and the player with the most points at the end wins. It’s a great way to encourage friendly competition and keep the excitement going until the very end.

How to Win
Your goal is to get a score of Diddly (zero points) or as close to that as possible. The player with the lowest score after playing five rounds is the winner!
Let’s Get Started!
All right, here’s how we’re going to set up the game. The person who owns the game gets to be the first dealer. Take the deck of cards and give each player six cards. Make sure no one looks at their cards just yet! Now, it’s time to arrange those cards.
You’ll want to organize your cards into three columns. Each column should have two cards. Remember, don’t show anyone what you’ve got! Just keep those cards face down.
If you’re playing with just two to six players, you can adjust the setup a bit. Instead of three columns, you’ll have four. And instead of six cards, each player will only have eight. Each column should still have two cards though.
Hey there! Welcome to the player’s board. It’s your turn to play! Choose any two cards on your board and flip them face up.
Remember, the remaining cards become the draw deck. Make sure it’s accessible to all players. Take the top card from the draw deck and place it face up to start the discard pile. The player to the left of the dealer gets to kickstart the game. Ready? Let’s get started!
Game Play
You have two options: you can either draw the top card from the draw deck or the top card from the discard pile. (There’s an exception for the Recycle card, but we’ll get to that later).
Now, here’s the fun part: replace a card on your board with the card you just drew. It can be any face-up or face-down card. The drawn card must be placed face-up on your board. Oh, and guess what? You can’t peek at a face-down card before you replace it. (Don’t worry, there’s an exception for the Peek card too). So go ahead, give it a shot!
When you draw a card in this game, you need to make sure you discard a card from your board that it’s replacing. You’ll discard the card face-up onto the discard pile.
Don’t forget! You can’t discard a card on the same turn you draw it!
The Recycling Card
Hey there! Have you ever heard of the Recycling Card? It’s a pretty neat card that you can use to recycle other cards from the discard pile. When you have a Recycling Card that is face up on your board, you can “recycle” any card from the discard pile.
Now, here’s how it works. If you happen to draw a Recycling Card, you need to replace one of the cards on your board with it. But don’t worry, it’s a simple swap.
What’s cool is that on a later turn, instead of a regular draw, you can choose to replace the Recycling Card on your board with any card from the discard pile. Just think about all the possibilities! After you make the swap, make sure to discard the Recycling Card on top of the discard pile. That’s how you end your turn.
But wait, there’s more! If you want to get rid of the Recycling Card on your board during a normal turn, you can replace it with another card and then discard the Recycling Card. It’s like a double whammy!
By the way, did you know that an unmatched Recycling Card is worth a whopping 10 points? Now that’s something to strive for!
The Sneaky Peek Card
When you have a Peek card in your hand, you get a special power. You can use it to take a sneak peek at one of your facedown cards without letting anyone else see it. Just remember to keep it a secret! If you draw a Peek card during the game, you can exchange it for any card on your board. It’s like a little game of hide-and-seek. And if you happen to find a Peek card in the discard pile, you can still use its power. Take a peek at one of your facedown cards, and then replace the discard card with the Peek card. It’s a clever way to recycle! During the setup phase of a round, if you reveal a Peek card, you can sneak a peek at one of your facedown cards before the game even starts. It gives you a head start! And don’t forget, an unmatched Peek card is worth a whopping 10 points. It’s definitely a card you’ll want to hold on to.
A Diddly Swap card is a special card that allows you to switch the positions of two cards on your board. When you draw the Diddly Swap card, you have the option to swap the position of any card on your board with another card.
You can swap a card regardless of whether it is face up or face down. If a card is face up, it remains face up after the swap. If a card is face down, it stays face down. Remember, you are not obligated to swap any cards. After you have made your decision to swap or not, you must replace any card on your board with the Diddly Swap card.
During the setup phase of a round, if the Diddly Swap card is turned face up, you can use it to swap two cards on your board before the game starts. However, the Diddly Swap card itself doesn’t score any points.
The game continues until all the cards of one player are face up. Once this happens, that player no longer takes any turns in the round. The other players each take one final turn. When everyone has taken their last turn, the round comes to an end.
Now it’s time to uncover any face-down cards on your board. You can’t recycle or swap them just yet – that comes later. Let’s move on to scoring. (over)
Scoring
If two cards in a column match, they’re not worth anything. But if the cards in a column don’t match, here’s how you score them:

Did you know that each number card in a deck has a specific value? It’s true! In fact, every number card, from 1 through 10, is worth the same number of points as its actual number. For example, a 1 card is worth 1 point, a 2 card is worth 2 points, and a 3 card is worth 3 points. This pattern continues all the way up to 10.
Imagine playing a game and adding up your points. You could have a 5 card, a 7 card, and a 9 card in your hand. By simply looking at the numbers, you already know that you have a total of 21 points! It’s as easy as that.
In this game, you’ll be collecting cards and earning points. The cards have different values, so let’s break it down:
- I have a card called “Recycle,” and it’s worth 10 points. To get points for it, you need to match it with another “Recycle” card.
- Another card is called “Peek,” and it’s also worth 10 points. To earn those points, you’ll need to match it with another “Peek” card.
- There’s a card called “Diddly,” and it doesn’t give you any points. You won’t earn any points for a “Diddly” card, whether it’s a regular card or a “Diddly Swap” or “Diddly Half” card.
So, in summary, you can earn points by matching “Recycle” cards with each other or by matching “Peek” cards with each other. But remember, the “Diddly” cards won’t give you any points. Good luck collecting those valuable cards!
When using a Diddly Half card:
- I can peek, recycle, and get 5 points if I have a 10 and a 9.
- I can get 4 points if I have an 8 and a 7.
- I can get 3 points if I have a 6 and a 5.
- I can get 2 points if I have a 4 and a 3.
- I can get 1 point if I have a 2 and a 1.
- If I have all Diddly cards, I don’t get any points.
Let’s Start a New Round
You should keep track of everyone’s scores for each round. The person sitting on the left side of the previous dealer will become the new dealer.
End of the Game
After we finish playing five rounds, we will add up all the scores. The player who has the lowest total score will win.
If two or more players have the same lowest total score, we will check their scores from each individual round. The player with the lowest score in those rounds will be the winner. If there is still a tie, we will keep going until someone has a lower score and is declared the winner.
