HOW TO PLAY
Let’s play Go Fish just like we always do. If you need a reminder on how to play, check out our Go Fish rules. But here’s a quick rundown:
Deal 7 cards to each of us and put the rest of the deck in the middle. One of us starts by asking the other for a specific rank of card that they have. The goal of the game is to collect all four cards of the same rank – the more sets of four we collect, the better.
If you have the card that I’m asking for, you have to give me all the cards of that rank that you have. But if you don’t have any of that rank, you tell me to “go fish”, which means I have to draw a card from the deck.
Then it’s your turn to ask me for a card of a specific rank. We keep taking turns like this.
When I collect four cards of the same rank, you have to see them and can put them down in front of me.
Now, if we want to play Sexy Go Fish, there are three extra rules:
- If I ask you for a specific rank and you don’t have it, you have to take a drink.
- If you have the card that I want, and vice versa, we both have to take a drink.
- Whenever I make a set of four cards, also known as a book, you have to take off a piece of clothing and finish your drink.
End of the Game
We keep playing until there are no cards left in the draw pile. The person with the most books at the end wins!
