S’MORES SHOWDOWN
Get ready for S’mores Showdown, an exciting and competitive game that the whole family can enjoy. The goal is simple: collect as many s’mores as possible to come out on top. But beware, every unused ingredient will cost you points, so use them wisely!
As you strive to obtain each ingredient, you may find yourself in tiebreaker situations. In these moments, you and your opponent will go head-to-head in a classic rock, paper, scissors battle to determine who claims the ingredient. For even more excitement, check out our expansion packs!
SETTING UP THE GAME
Before diving in, it’s important to set up the game properly. Start by creating three separate piles: Marshmallows, Graham Crackers, and Chocolate. Shuffle each pile thoroughly before assembling the playing field. Next, distribute two Battle Cards, four Tokens, and one S’morage Token to each player.
Gather all your necessary items and get ready to start the game! Once everyone is prepared, it’s time to flip over the top card from each condiment pile.
How to Play
Now it’s time to choose which condiment you want. Everyone will choose at the same time by signaling their choice with their token. If you’re the only one who wants a particular condiment, you get it without any fuss. But if there are multiple players who want the same condiment, it’s time to battle!
In a battle, each player chooses a battle card. Think of it like rock, paper, scissors. The cards have different strengths, so pick the most powerful one if you can. The strength of each card is listed on the bottom. If multiple players choose the same battle card, you might need tiebreaker cards to determine the winner!
When making S’mores, it’s essential to follow a specific order: Graham Cracker, Chocolate, Marshmallow, and another Graham Cracker. If you only have Chocolate or Marshmallow without a Graham Cracker, don’t worry! You can keep it in your S’morage until you can use it.
THE END
The game concludes when one of the piles is empty. At this point, we count the points. Players earn points for each completed S’more. However, if you have leftover cards that don’t form a complete S’more, you lose a point for each card. The player with the highest score wins the game!
