RISE OF TRIBES

Hey there! I’m here to tell you about a cool game called Rise of Tribes. In this game, you get to be in charge of your very own tribe during prehistoric times. And guess what? Your tribe has four main goals: grow, move, gather, and lead. Sounds exciting, right?

SETUP

Now, let’s talk about setting up the game. First, you need to gather some terrain tiles. You’ll need one more tile than the number of players for each type of terrain. Any extra tiles can be put aside for now. Once you have all the tiles, mix them up and place them faceup on the table to create the game board. Make sure it’s all random and stuff!

Next, each player gets some cool stuff. You’ll need twenty tribe members, a score disc, a deck of fifteen goal cards, and a player board. Make sure everyone gets their own set – we don’t want any fights breaking out!

Alright, now that everything is set up, it’s time to start playing Rise of Tribes. Good luck on your journey to victory!

When we start playing, we need all the necessary components within our reach. That’s why we place all the resource tokens and village markers beside the game board. To make sure everyone can see it, we put the action board in a visible spot. And above the action board, we have a shuffled deck of event cards.

Each player starts with their score disc placed on the zero space of the action board. And to determine the actions we can take, we place three dice on each of the action spaces. One shows a sun, another a moon, and the third one is black.

Now, let’s talk about how we start the game. The first player is randomly chosen, and they get to choose a tile to place their tribe members. After that, the other players take turns, making sure they don’t place their tribe members on an already occupied space. And just like that, we’re ready to begin the game!

TIME TO PLAY

When I take my turn, I go through five steps to score as many points as possible. First, I count my villages and get one point for each one I have. Then I roll two dice, and if I get the same numbers on both, something special happens!

Now it’s time to choose which two actions I want to do. I can grow my tribe, move my tribe, gather resources, or lead my tribe. When I grow my tribe, I add more members. When I move my tribe, I make space for more members. When I gather resources, I get what I need. And when I lead my tribe, we get closer to our goals. Each action has its own benefits, and some are better than others.

So, here’s the deal. In this game, conflicts can be resolved by taking out one tribe member from each player, one at a time, until there’s only one player left standing. That happens when there are more than five tribe members on a tile. Remember, tiles can only handle five members, so if there’s a crowd, conflict is bound to happen, even if it’s between teammates.

After all the conflict is settled, players can focus on completing their goals. These goals involve both developments and achievements. Developments require resources to complete, while achievements are based on the specific circumstances of the game, as indicated on the card. The thing is, you don’t have to complete every goal card that comes your way. It’s up to you to decide which ones to prioritize.

The game keeps going like this, with conflicts and goal pursuits, until one player manages to earn a total of 15 points. That’s when things come to an end.

END OF GAME

Hey there!

Let me tell you about this exciting game I just discovered. It’s called “Tribe Challenge,” and I can’t get enough of it. The goal is simple – be the first player to reach 15 points, and you win! But here’s the catch – if you lose all your tribe members, you’re out of the game. But don’t worry, you can start a new turn with just two tribe members.

Oh, where are my manners? I’m Ellie, and I live in Northeast Tennessee. I’m a big fan of animals, especially when they come in different shapes and sizes. I also love getting lost in the pages of fantasy fiction novels and spending time outdoors. And you know what makes my heart burst with joy? My amazing husband and our two adorable fur babies.

Being a part of this awesome community has brought so much happiness into my life. I just wanted to share a little bit about myself and the things that make me smile. Thanks for taking the time to listen!
