Discover the Excitement of “Moving the Stars!”
Hey there! Have you ever wanted to challenge yourself and put your coordination skills to the test? Well, get ready to have a blast with “Moving the Stars!” This game is all about racing against your friends to arrange your stars just right, and I bet you’ll love it!
Getting Ready to Play
So, let me walk you through how to set up the game. Everyone gets their own player board and a set of six stars in the same color. It’s like having your own little constellation!
Okay, let’s get started! So, I’m shuffling the deck of cards and putting them facedown right in the middle of the play area.
Now, it’s time to choose a player who will be the first to flip a card. This card has to come from the top of the deck, of course.
Here’s How the Game Works
The player chosen to go first flips the top card and makes sure it’s visible to everyone playing.
Now, the race begins! Each player has their own board, and they have to arrange their stars just like they see them on the card. These player boards have grids with 12 boxes, which help everyone see how accurately they’ve placed their stars.

When you think you’ve successfully arranged your stars, it’s time to show off your skills. Raise your hands off the board and shout “Galaxy!” to let everyone know you’ve conquered the challenge.

When you play the game, you can’t change your stars once you say “Galaxy.”
The rest of us keep arranging our stars and shouting ‘galaxy’ when we’re finished, hoping that someone made a mistake and we can win the round.
We check all the cards to see if anyone got the right arrangement. The player who was fastest and most accurate wins the card. It’s all about speed and getting it right.
For example, let’s say the card doesn’t have all the stars on it. We need to pay attention to which color star is missing so we don’t use it. If we make a mistake and use the wrong color, our card won’t count.
When you’re playing the card game, it’s crucial to put the stars in the right place. The stars on your card need to match up exactly with the stars you’re trying to replicate.
Even if you get the pattern or formation correct, putting a green star where a blue star should be will cost you the card for that round. It’s important to have the right color in the right spot.
Any cards you use go face up in a separate pile.
Keep in mind that play continues in a clockwise direction.
End of the Game
The game is over when all the cards have been used or when the players decide to stop. The winner is the player with the most cards.
