Welcome to Herd Mentality! The aim of the game is to blend in with the crowd. Here’s how it works: one person will ask a question, and everyone else has to answer it based on what they think everyone else will say.

If you give an answer that matches the majority, you earn a cow token. But be careful! If your answer is different, you’ll receive the dreaded pink cow. And having the pink cow will make it impossible to win the game. So stay with the crowd, keep your answers simple, and you might just come out on top!

SETUP

First, assemble the 3-D cow paddock in the middle of the group. This is where you’ll collect your cow tokens. Fill it with the cow tokens, and don’t forget to place the pink cow on top.

Next, choose a Question Wrangler. They’ll be in charge of reading the questions throughout the game.

Alright, folks, let’s get this game started! Make sure everyone has an answer pad and a pencil, and we’re good to go!

Time to Play

Here’s how it works: I’ll start off as the Question Wrangler. I’ll read a question from the question card, and then it’s time for all of you to put on your thinking caps and write down your answer on the answer sheet. The trick is to try and come up with the same answer as everyone else. So, let’s see who can join the herd and think alike!

I’ve got a fun game for us to play! It’s called “Guess the Majority”. Here’s how it works: we all write down our answers to a question, and then we take turns sharing them out loud.

If someone’s answer matches what most of us said, they earn a cow. But if there’s a tie for the majority, no one gets a cow. It’s all about going with the crowd!

Now, here’s the twist: if only one person has a different answer from everyone else, they get to keep the special pink cow. But be careful, having the pink cow means you can’t win the game, although you can still earn regular cows. It’s a hilarious punishment for going against the herd!

If you find yourself stuck with the pink cow in the game, there’s only one way to get rid of it – find another player who is the odd one out and pass it to them.

Keep playing until someone manages to collect a total of eight cows.

GAME OVER

The game comes to an end as soon as a player accumulates eight cows. That lucky player is declared the winner!
