Imagine this: each player takes turns defending why their qualifications would make them the perfect fit for the job. The goal? Score a Job Card and become the ultimate winner! It’s all about being persuasive and thinking on your feet. After all, you gotta prove you’re the best candidate out there!

And if you think you’ve seen it all, think again! We’ve got expansion packs that add even more cards, better answers, and accommodate more players. Because who doesn’t want more fun?

Ready to Play? Here’s the Setup:

Before we dive into the game, let’s make sure everything’s set up. Shuffle all the Job Cards and Qualification Cards till they’re nicely mixed up. Place the Job cards on the table to the right of the play area, and put a deck of Qualification Cards on the left of the play area. Now you’re all set! Let the fun begin!

So, here’s the deal. We need to figure out who’s going to be the boss first. That person will be the Employer. The Employer will then hand out 4 Qualification Cards to each applicant. But here’s the twist: the Employer gets to keep a number of Qualification Cards equal to the number of players in the group. The Employer will then put 10 Qualification Cards face up in the middle of the play area. And finally, the Employer will reveal the top Job Card so that everyone knows what they’re applying for.

Let’s Play

Alright, let’s get this show on the road. The Employer flips a Job Card, and then all the applicants, including the Employer themselves, have a few moments to swap their cards with other cards in the play area. Here’s the catch: everyone does it at the same time, and once time’s up, you’re stuck with whatever you’ve got. So choose wisely!

So, here’s what happens when we play this game – once we all have our cards, it’s time to start the interviews. The person sitting next to the Employer goes first. They take turns presenting their qualification cards to the Employer one by one, explaining why they’re the perfect fit for the job. After they finish their pitch, the Employer gives them a card from their hand, and the Applicant has to explain or justify why that card matters.

Once everyone has given their pitch, the Employer decides who they think is the most qualified and gives them the Job Card. That person has secured the job! All the qualification cards that were used in this round get discarded, except for the 10 cards in the middle. Then, everyone gets new cards for the next round, and the person to the left of the Employer becomes the new Employer.

So, here’s the deal: the game has a set number of rounds, and that number depends on how many players are in the group. Once we reach that point, the game is over. And the player with the most Job Cards is declared the winner!

LATE TO THE INTERVIEW

Now, things get interesting. Each player gets 4 Qualification Cards, but here’s the catch – you can’t peek at them! During the interview process, you’ll have to reveal one card at a time and come up with a way to convince everyone that your qualifications are perfect for the job. It’s all about thinking on your feet!

The Game’s End

Now, how do you determine when the game is over? Well, it depends on how many players are in the game. If there are between 3 and 6 players, then you’ll play for two rounds. At the end of those two rounds, the player with the most job cards will be the winner. On the other hand, if there are more than 6 players, the game ends after just one round, and again, the player with the most job cards wins.
