DIRTY NASTY FILTHY HEARTS
A Sneak Peek into Dirty Nasty Filthy Hearts
Welcome to Dirty Nasty Filthy Hearts, a fun card game for four people. The goal of the game is to keep your score as low as possible until one player reaches a score of 300.
How to Set Up the Game
First, let’s talk about the setup. The cards are dealt in a clockwise direction, face down. To decide who starts dealing, we randomly choose a player, and then for each new round, the dealer position moves to the left.
The dealer takes the deck of cards, shuffles them nicely, and gives each player a hand of 13 cards. Everyone gets an equal chance!
After each round, players will pass three cards to someone else. It’s up to the dealer to decide how the cards will be passed. You can choose any variation you like. For example, you can pass three cards to the player on your left, or three cards to the player on your right. You can even mix it up and pass one card to the left and two cards to the right, or any other combination you prefer.
Hey there! Let me tell you about a fun card game called Shitting in the Kitty. It’s a game where all players get to pass some cards to the center, and then everyone gets dealt a new hand. Sounds exciting, right?
How to Play Shitting in the Kitty
So, here’s how it works: each player chooses three cards from their hand and passes them face down to the center. Then the dealer collects all twelve cards, shuffles them up, and deals each player three new cards from this shuffled pile. It’s like getting a fresh start!
Once all the cards are dealt and everyone has arranged their hand, the player who has the two of clubs gets to take the first turn. They can play any card from their hand and start the game off with a bang!
Now that you know the basics, gather your friends, grab a deck of cards, and give Shitting in the Kitty a try. It’s a fantastic game that will keep you entertained for hours. Have fun!
When we play Dirty Nasty Filthy Hearts, we all have to play the same kind of card if we have one. There’s no special kind of card that can win the game. The highest card of the same kind that gets played wins, and the winner gets to start the next round. If someone doesn’t have a card of the same kind, they can play any other card they want. This is a good chance to get rid of any high cards that you don’t want to win. The only time you can’t get rid of high cards is in the very first round, but after that, you can throw them out as long as you don’t have any cards of the kind that’s being played. There’s another way to play where you can use any card you want in any round.
We can’t start with a card that’s a heart until someone else plays a heart or the queen of spades. But the queen of spades can start at any time (except the first round).
When we play this game, we won’t stop until one player has a score of 300 or more points.
Scoring: Let’s Find the Minimum!
This game is all about tricks, but here’s the trick: you want to win as few tricks as possible. In fact, the real goal is to avoid winning any tricks that have scoring cards. At the end of each round, we’ll count up those scoring cards and add them to our scores. Now, remember, the real objective is to have the lowest score!
Now, there’s this special card, the jack of diamonds. Some folks call it the lil man or the cake daddy. And get this: if you win it in a trick, it actually subtracts 10 from your score. Pretty neat, huh?
As for the other cards, each heart is worth a single point. But watch out for the queen of spades! That one’s worth a whopping 26 points. And the other queens? Well, they’re worth 13 points each. Keep that in mind!
Oh, and there’s one more thing: if someone manages to win all the scoring cards in a round, we call it shooting. And guess what? They win the whole game! But here’s the catch: the player to their left has to leave the table to make room for someone new. Talk about shaking things up!
GAME OVER
When a player accumulates 300 or more points, the game is over. And believe me, this is no ordinary game – it’s a real nail-biter! The player who manages to rack up the fewest points is declared the ultimate champion. Yes, you heard that right, my friend. The one who scores the least actually gets to wear the crown. It’s like a plot twist in a thrilling movie or the surprise ending to an epic saga!
I know what you’re thinking – it seems counterintuitive, right? We’re so used to celebrating the high scorers and applauding those who excel. But this game, my friend, turns everything upside down. It’s a game that rewards strategic thinking, careful planning, and cunning maneuvers. And let me tell you, it’s a breath of fresh air in a world that’s often obsessed with coming out on top.
So, if you’re up for a challenge and ready to embrace a different kind of victory, then this game is for you. It’s a game that flips the script and reminds us that sometimes, in the grand scheme of things, being the underdog can have its own special kind of glory. And who knows, maybe you’ll discover a hidden talent or a new strategy that sets you apart from the rest.
Remember, my friend, this game isn’t about reaching the highest score or outperforming everyone else. It’s about strategy, resourcefulness, and a little bit of luck. It’s about defying expectations and showing the world that there’s more than one way to win. So gather your wits, sharpen your skills, and let the battle of the low scorers begin!
