Welcome to the Yamslam Game Rules
Hey there! Are you ready to learn all about the Yamslam game? Well, you’re in the right place, my friend! Today, I’m going to walk you through the rules and regulations of this exciting game.
First things first, let me tell you what Yamslam is all about. Yamslam is a fascinating dice game that combines strategy, luck, and some quick thinking. It’s a game that can be played with friends, family, or even on your own!
Now, let’s dive into the nitty-gritty of the game. The goal of Yamslam is to score points by rolling five dice and matching their values to different combinations. The catch is, you only have three rolls to try and create the best combination possible. So, every move counts!
Here’s how it works. On your turn, you’ll start by rolling all five dice. After each roll, you have the option to set aside any dice that match a specific combination. Once you’re satisfied with your chosen dice, you’ll re-roll the remaining ones to try and create even more valuable combinations. You can do this up to three times before your turn ends.
Now, let’s talk about the different combinations you can aim for. There are several ways to score points in Yamslam, and each combination has its own value. For example, if you roll five dice with the same number, you’ll achieve a “Five of a Kind” and earn big points!
But that’s not all! Yamslam also rewards players for getting a “Full House” (three of one number and two of another), a “Straight” (five consecutive numbers, like 1-2-3-4-5), and even a “Yamslam” (rolling five different numbers), among other combinations.
It’s important to note that you have to choose which combination you’re going for and have a strategy in mind. You need to think about which dice to keep and which ones to re-roll to maximize your score. It’s a game of decision-making and weighing the odds!
Alright, now that you have a good grasp on how Yamslam works, it’s time for you to grab a set of dice and start playing! Remember, the more you practice, the better you’ll get at strategizing and achieving high scores. So, don’t be discouraged if you don’t become a Yamslam expert right away. Keep rolling those dice and having a blast!
When I throw the five dice, my goal is to get the highest score and win a chip. But here’s the catch: there are only four chips of each kind, so I need to act fast and grab the best chips before they’re all gone.
Don’t forget to explore the different bonuses that can boost your points! Making smart choices and relying on luck will lead you to victory!

How to Win
The goal is to have the highest score by the end of the game. Let’s get started!
Setting Up the Game
Alright! Let’s get started with the game of 28 chips.
I’ll show you how simple it is to play. First, let’s set up the board by placing the 28 chips in their spots. You’ll need to put four chips in each slot. Go ahead and distribute them evenly.
Now, we need to decide who goes first. We’ll roll the die to figure it out. The player with the highest number gets the honor of starting the game.
Once we know who starts, the game progresses in a clockwise direction. Everyone takes their turn in order.
Let the Game Begin!
- Roll the five dice up to three times to try and get one of the following eight combinations.
- After the first and second roll, pick the dice you want to keep and roll the rest of them again.
- Stop rolling the dice whenever you manage to get a combination that you’re happy with.
Yamslam Combinations
2 Pairs / 5 points
Hey there! Let’s talk about some cool combinations in Yamslam.
Okay, so have you ever played Yamslam? It’s this super fun game where you roll these dice and try to make different combinations. One of the combinations you can make is called “2 Pairs,” and guess what, it’s worth 5 points!
Now, you might be wondering, what exactly is a “2 Pairs” combination? Well, it’s when you roll the dice and end up with two pairs of the same numbers. For example, let’s say you roll the dice and you get two 2s and two 5s. That’s a 2 Pairs combination right there!
I know what you’re thinking, “Why is this important?”. Great question! This is important because the more combinations you can make in Yamslam, the more points you can score. And let me tell you, scoring points feels amazing!
So, next time you’re playing Yamslam, keep your eyes peeled for those two pairs. When you land that combination, you’ll be on your way to victory!
Hey there! Ever played with dice before? Well, today I want to talk to you about something really cool and interesting – the different combinations you can get when rolling two pairs of dice!
Let’s Talk About 3-of-a-Kind!
Picture this: you’re holding two dice, and when you roll them, they both end up showing the same number. That’s what we call a “3-of-a-kind”! It’s like magic when those dice align to give you the same face. Pretty cool, right?
Now, when you get this magical 3-of-a-kind, you earn yourself some points. In fact, you get a whopping 10 points! That’s pretty awesome if you ask me. It’s like a mini victory every time you roll those dice and see that beautiful matching face staring right back at you.
So, the next time you grab a pair of dice, keep your eyes peeled for that 3-of-a-kind. It’s a special moment that deserves a little celebration. And who knows, maybe you’ll even become a dice-rolling champion!
Look at these three dice – they all have the same number on the top face. Cool, right? This is called a Small Straight, and it gets you a hefty 20 points!
Imagine this: four dice lined up in a row, all showing different numbers. Pretty cool, right?
Well, hold onto your hats because there’s more. I’m about to introduce you to something called a flush, and trust me, it’s a game-changer.
Here’s the deal. A flush happens when you roll four dice in a row, and they all show the same number. That’s right, all four dice have to match for it to count. And let me tell you, when it does happen, it’s worth a whopping 25 points.
So why is this so important? Well, for starters, a flush is pretty hard to come by. I mean, what are the odds of rolling four dice and having them all show the same number? It’s like finding a needle in a haystack. But when it does happen, boy does it feel good.
But here’s the thing: a flush is a double-edged sword. On one hand, it’s a guaranteed way to elevate your score and boost your chances of winning. I mean, 25 points is nothing to sneeze at. But on the other hand, it’s also a rare occurrence. So if you’re banking on getting a flush every time you roll the dice, you might be in for a rude awakening.
That’s why it’s important to take a step back and look at the bigger picture. Sure, a flush is great, but it’s just one piece of the puzzle. You need to consider all the other factors at play and make strategic decisions based on what’s best for you in the long run.
So next time you roll those dice and see four of a kind staring back at you, don’t get too carried away. Celebrate, by all means, but remember that there’s more to the game than just a flush. Keep your eyes on the prize and make your moves wisely. Who knows, you might just come out on top.
Yo, check it out! All them dice, they all lookin’ the same. Ain’t nothin’ fancy goin’ on here. They all rockin’ the same color, keepin’ it real simple.
Full House / 30 points
When it comes to poker, there’s a holy grail of hands that every player hopes for – a 4-of-a-kind. It’s like hitting the jackpot. A 4-of-a-kind is when you have four cards of the same rank, accompanied by another card of a different rank.
4-of-a-Kind / 40 points
When I roll the dice, there is something magical about the moment. The anticipation of what the outcome will be fills me with excitement. Four dice showing the same face is a rare sight indeed. It’s like a little miracle happening right before my eyes.
Large Straight / 50 points
Imagine this: five dice, lined up in a row. It’s like a game of chance, where luck and strategy collide. Each roll brings excitement and anticipation. Welcome to Yamslam!
Yamslam is a fun and thrilling game that combines luck and skill. The goal is to roll the dice and match the combinations listed on the score sheet. It may sound simple, but the possibilities are endless.
Every roll of the dice is a chance to earn points. Will you go for a straight, filling the score sheet with consecutive numbers? Or maybe a full house, with three of a kind and a pair? The choice is yours, and it’s all about strategizing and making the right move.
But beware, Yamslam can be a double-edged sword. The more points you aim for, the higher the risk. Sometimes, it’s worth taking a chance and pushing your luck. Other times, playing it safe is the smarter move.
What makes Yamslam even more exciting is the element of competition. You can play against friends, family, or even challenge yourself to beat your own scores. The possibilities are endless.
So, if you’re looking for a game that will keep you on the edge of your seat and provide endless hours of fun, then Yamslam is the game for you. Get ready to shake, roll, and strategize your way to victory!

Getting Chips
Remember, there are only 4 chips of each kind. So make sure to grab the best ones before they’re all gone!
- If any of my rolls wins a chip, I can choose to end my turn right away and collect. If a roll satisfies multiple combinations, I can pick the chip I want.
- If I roll a Yamslam (five dice showing the same face), I take one chip of my choice and keep playing.
- If my dice don’t match any available chip, I don’t get to collect.
- If no player collects a chip during a round, we have to discard one chip with the highest value from the rack.
Only a Yamslam roll can be used to collect a chip from the discard pile.
Important: Remember to line up your chips in numerical order in front of you.
The End of the Game
When I take the last chip from the rack, the game comes to an end.
Can I get bonus points?
