Sugar Blast Game Rules
Welcome to the world of Sugar Blast! I’m here to guide you through the game and help you become a Sugar Blast superstar.
Let’s start with the basics. In Sugar Blast, your goal is to match colorful candies and clear the board to earn points and achieve victory. It’s a thrilling and addicting game that will test your puzzle-solving skills.
To play, simply swap adjacent candies to create a line of three or more candies of the same color. When you do, they will explode, giving you points. The more candies you match, the higher your score will be. But don’t worry if you get stuck – there are power-ups and boosters that can help you out of tough situations.
There are different game modes in Sugar Blast, each with its own set of challenges. You can play in Timed Mode, where you race against the clock to reach your target score before time runs out. Or you can try your luck in Moves Mode, where you have a limited number of moves to achieve your objectives.
Strategy is key in Sugar Blast. You’ll need to plan your moves carefully to create powerful chain reactions and maximize your score. Look for opportunities to create special candies, such as the Wrapped Candy or the Striped Candy. These candies can clear entire rows or columns, or even create a big explosion that clears a large area of the board.
As you progress through the game, the levels will become more difficult, with new challenges and obstacles to overcome. But don’t worry, I’ll be here to help you along the way. I’ll provide tips, tricks, and guidance to ensure your success.
So, are you ready to embark on this sweet adventure? Join me in Sugar Blast and let’s blast some candies together. Get ready to have a sugar-filled blast!

How cool is that?

- Instructions
Let’s Get Started!
- First, snap the base of the game board into position and place it in the center of the table.
- Next, each player can choose a side of the board to sit on.
- You’ll want to keep the Player Aids close by for easy reference.
- Now, let’s mix up all the candies by placing them in the cloth bag and giving it a good shake.
- Using the bag, start filling up the 6×6 board by placing one candy chip on each space. Just remember, you can’t have more than three candies of the same type in a row!
- The remaining candies can be kept within reach in the bag for everyone to easily access.
- Lastly, grab the orange card holder and place it near the board.
Hey there! Let me walk you through the steps to get started with this exciting game. Here’s what you need to do:
Step 1: Get the objective cards together and pick one. You can choose it randomly or select a specific one, totally up to you.
Step 2: Take the objective card you picked and place it in the orange card holder. After that, simply put the remaining cards back in the box.
Step 3: Now, it’s time to decide who goes first. The player who has eaten some candy most recently gets the honor! And remember, the order of turns will be clockwise, so keep that in mind.
That’s it! You’re all set to begin your adventure in this fun-filled game. Enjoy and have a blast!

Let’s Play the Game!
When we play the game, our main objective is to create powerful Blasts. These Blasts help us progress and achieve our goals.

When you play Candy Crush, a Blast happens when there are at least 3 Candies of the same type next to each other, either in a row or column.
To create a Blast, you can swap 2 Candies that are next to each other, but only if they are in the same row or column. Diagonal Candies cannot be swapped.
Example: Let’s say it’s my turn and I’m on the lookout for a special move called a Blast. I spot a Marshmallow candy next to two other Marshmallow candies, so I decide to swap the Marshmallow candy with a Corn candy that’s right beside it.
Now, the row of three Marshmallow candies forms a Blast!
When you create a Blast, there are a few steps you need to follow:
1. First, you remove all the matching candies from the board. You keep one in front of you and put the rest in the bag.
2. Then, you tilt the board towards you, sliding all the candies in your direction.
3. Next, you fill up the empty spaces with candies drawn randomly from the bag. You add the new candies from the bottom to the top and from left to right.
4. Finally, if any new Blasts are created when you refill the board, you repeat these steps until there are no more available Blasts to make.
It’s an exciting and strategic process that keeps the game interesting. By creating Blasts, you can earn points and progress through the game. So keep an eye out for those special moves and have fun matching candies!
When there are no more available Blasts, your turn ends.
- Important: Certain Blasts let you take extra Candies.
For example: After I make a Blast, I take away 3 Marshmallow Candies from the board. I keep 1 in front of me and put the other 2 back in the bag. Then, I tilt the board towards me, and some Candies slide down!
I reach into the bag and add new Candies. I start from the bottom row and move up, adding them from left to right.
Now that some Candies have moved and new ones have been added, I check to see if there’s a new Blast. If there is, I repeat the steps I took earlier during my turn!

If you and the other players decide that no Blasts can happen at the beginning, we won’t swap any Candies. Instead, here’s what we’ll do:
- I’ll pick one random Candy from the bag and see what type it is.
- I’ll take out one Candy of a different type from the board.
- I’ll put that Candy in the empty space on the board.
- If my swap creates a Blast, I’ll follow the Blast Steps we talked about earlier. But if I still can’t make a Blast, my turn is over.
After I finish my turn, I’ll pass the bag to the player on my left.

Blasts
When I talk about a Blast, I’m referring to a special circumstance in the game. You see, it happens when you have at least 3 Candies of the same type right next to each other, either in the same row or column. It’s like they’re joining forces to create a powerful explosion!
Now, Blasts come in different types, each with their own unique characteristics. And when you make a Blast, something amazing happens. You not only score points, but you also get rid of those Candies, making room for new ones to appear. It’s like a double win!
Let me break it down for you. When you create a Blast, the Candies involved in the explosion vanish in a spectacular fashion. They disappear, leaving nothing but a trail of stardust behind. And as if that wasn’t cool enough, new Candies magically appear to take their place.
So, let’s recap. Whenever you have 3 or more Candies of the same type lined up next to each other, you’ve got yourself a Blast. And when that Blast happens, you score points and clear the way for fresh new Candies to drop in. It’s like a chain reaction of awesomeness!
When you make a group of 3 Candies that are all the same, they explode and disappear from the board.
Make sure to keep 1 of the Candies for yourself, and put the rest back in the bag.

When you make a special move by grouping 4 candies of the same type together, something magical happens! The 4 candies and 2 additional candies in that row are all eliminated from the board. But don’t worry, you get to keep 1 of the matching candies and 1 of the other candies that were removed. The only catch is that the second candy you keep cannot be the same type as the ones you eliminated. It’s like a little reward for your skillful candy matching!
When you make a Mega-Blast in Candy Crush by forming a T, an L, or a + shape with five matching candies, those five candies, as well as the four other candies in the surrounding 3×3 square, are removed from the board.
You get to keep one of the matching candies and one of the other candies that were removed. But remember, the second candy you keep cannot be the same type as the matching candies.
Keep in mind: A Mega-Blast can only consist of five candies. So if you have a “long cross” made of six candies, you have to choose between creating a Blast of four or a Mega-Blast of five. You can’t have both.
It’s important: If you have two or more Blasts happening simultaneously, you have to decide the order in which you want to perform them.
For example: After making a Blast and removing the candies, Doug tilts the board towards him and adds new candies.
But now I have a bunch of new options for Matches! Check out this cool board I just found. It looks like I have a cross shape made up of 6 Candy Canes. And guess what? I can score three different Blasts from this one board:
- A row of 3 chips
- A column of 4 chips
- An intersection of 5 chips
Wow, I can only make one Blast at a time. So, I’ll have to decide which of these three Blasts I want to create first. Maybe I can make more Blasts later, but I’ll have to refill the board after removing the Candies before I can check again!

So here’s the deal: when you line up 5 or 6 Candies of the same type in a row, something magic happens. All 5 (or 6) of those matching Candies disappear, along with every other Candy of that type on the entire board. It’s like a big explosion of flavor!
But don’t worry, you won’t lose out completely. You get to keep 2 of the matching Candies to use later. It’s a win-win!
Powercards
Now, let’s talk about Power cards. This game has 12 of them, and they really spice things up. You can choose up to 2 cards when you start playing, which makes the game even more exciting. These cards add extra rules and special tokens that change the way the game is played. Here’s how you can play with Power cards:
One thing you should keep in mind about the game is that it’s important to set it up correctly. So, let me walk you through the steps. First, make sure you have all the necessary components ready. Then, follow these instructions:
- Start by setting up the basic game using the steps mentioned above.
- Next, grab 1 or 2 Power cards from the deck. You can do it randomly or make a deliberate choice. Don’t forget to put the remaining cards back in the box.
- Now, take all the tokens that come with your selected Power card(s) and separate them. Put the rest of the tokens back in the box.
- It’s time to read the special rules associated with your Power cards. Once you know them, you’re ready to have some fun!
Once you’ve set up the game and understood how it works, it’s time to talk about how it ends. Each Objective card displays a unique combination of Candies that players need to collect in a race. The player who completes the chosen Objective card first is the winner! So, gather your candies and get ready to race to victory!
