Hey, quick thinking! Can you come up with a name for something in a category and snatch that cube before the timer stops? But watch out – don’t pick up any Chips when it’s your turn!

Getting Ready

First, place the Timer/Letter Generator right in the middle of the playing area. Then, grab a bunch of cubes and get set to roll them!

And that’s it – you’re all set to play!

Let’s Play!

• Let’s start by rolling the cubes onto the playing area!
• Now, I’m gonna hit the button on top of the Timer/Letter Generator to start the timer and display a letter!
• The youngest player gets to go first! They have to name something in one of the categories shown on a cube, and it has to start with the letter displayed.
• For example, if we see the category “Gross Things” and the letter displayed is “T”, you could say, “tarantulas!” on your turn!
• When you come up with a word, make sure to grab the cube. Then, it’s the person to the left’s turn, and so on.
• We’ll keep playing until the timer stops or all the cubes have been grabbed! Remember, the timer is random, and it could stop anytime between 30 and 45 seconds. You never know, so make sure to be quick and finish your turn before it stops!

If the timer stops during my turn, the round ends, and I must take a Chip. But remember, I don’t want Chips, because the goal is to have the fewest Chips at the end!

Now, if all the cubes are grabbed before time is up, the player who grabs the last cube gets to give one of their Chips to any player they choose! That lucky player then gets to start the next round.

Once that’s settled, we all pick up some cubes and roll them again. Then we press the Timer/Letter Generator button to get a new letter and start the timer. The player who received a Chip in the previous round gets to start this new round.

We keep playing until all the Chips in the pile are gone. It’s a race to get rid of them!

When the Chip pile is finally gone, it’s time to count the Chips. The player with the fewest Chips wins! If there’s a tie, the tied players need to play another round to determine the ultimate winner!
