Time to Master the New York Slice Game Rules!

Now, I’m going to break down the exciting rules of the New York Slice game for you so that you can become a true pizza connoisseur. Get ready to dive into the mouth-watering world of this delicious game.

Set Up:

First things first, before we can start the game, we need to set up the playing area. Place the game board in the center of the table where everyone can easily see it. Then, shuffle the pizza slice deck and deal out six slices to each player.

Gameplay:

Now, let the cheesy fun begin! The game is played over three rounds, and each round consists of a number of turns, depending on the number of players. On your turn, you have two choices: either add a slice to one of the available pizza sets or take a pizza set.

If you choose to add a slice to a set, you must place it adjacent to at least one other slice in the set. Make sure to think strategically! You want to create sets that will score you the most points at the end of the round.

On the other hand, you can also choose to take a pizza set. When you do this, you get to claim all the slices in that set. However, there’s a catch! You have to eat one of the slices immediately, leaving the rest for your scrumptious collection! Be careful, though, as some slices may have negative points.

As the rounds progress, the number of slices needed to create sets increases. Keep an eye on your opponents’ strategies and adapt accordingly. Don’t forget, the goal is to collect the most delicious slices and score the highest number of points!

Scoring:

Scoring in New York Slice is a piece of cake, well, a piece of pizza, actually. At the end of each round, players tally their points based on the pizza sets they’ve collected. Each set has different scoring conditions, such as collecting different toppings or having the most slices in a set.

But that’s not all! There are special bonus points up for grabs, too. These bonus points can be earned by collecting dessert slices, anchovy slices, or by being the player with the most slices of pizza overall. So, keep your eyes peeled for those extra points!

Winning the Game:

The game comes to an end after three rounds. The player with the highest total score wins the title of “Pizza Master!” So, use your strategic skills, make mouth-watering choices, and claim your victory in this delectable pizza adventure!

New York Slice is a fun game that takes place in rounds. In each round, one player gets to slice a pizza into pieces. The number of pieces is equal to the number of players. And here’s a twist: one of the pieces has a special “Today’s Special” written on a chalkboard.

Now it’s time for each player to take turns and pick a piece. The person who sliced the pizza gets to choose last. When it’s your turn, you have to decide if you want to collect the piece or eat it. It’s a tough decision because each slice has its own benefits.

Once all the pieces have been chosen and distributed, it’s time to score points. The points are calculated based on the Guest Checks. The player with the most points at the end is the winner!

Hey there! Have you ever played the game Pizza Party? It’s a really fun game that involves pizza slices and a bit of strategy. Let me tell you how to get started.

First things first, you’ll need a few things to play. You’ll need 69 pizza slices, 14 Today’s Special Chalkboards, and 1 Guest Check pad. Make sure you have all of these before you begin.

Now, let’s set up the game. The number of players will determine how many pizza slices you’ll use. If there are 2 players, remove 10 Meat Lovers slices, 8 Mushroom slices, 3 Veggie slices, and the 8/10 combo slice with Mushrooms and Meat Lovers on it. If there are 3, 4, or 6 players, you’ll use all of the slices. And if there are 5 players, remove 10 Meat Lovers slices and the 8/10 combo slice with Mushrooms and Meat Lovers on it. Once you’ve done that, you’re ready to start.

Now it’s time to shuffle the slices. Take all of the slices and place them face down on the table. Move them around to mix them up. It’s important to use a tablecloth to protect the slices from getting scratched. Once you’ve shuffled them, make stacks of 11 slices each, with the remaining 3 slices kept face down in the box.

Lastly, you’ll need to shuffle the specials. This adds an extra element of surprise to the game. So go ahead and shuffle the special cards, and you’re all set to begin your pizza party!

I hope you have a blast playing Pizza Party. It’s a game that’s sure to keep you entertained and strategizing the whole time. Enjoy!

Let’s get the game started! First, shuffle the Specials and place one on top of each stack of 11 slices, keeping them face down. The remaining Specials go in the box, also face down.

Who Goes First?

The first Slicer is the player who hasn’t won a game in the longest time.

How to Play

We play a number of rounds equal to the number of stacks of 11 slices available. Each round starts with the Slicer slicing, and then each player chooses a portion, with the Slicer choosing last.

Starting a Round

Here’s how we kick off each round: First, the Slicer picks a stack of 11 slices and its corresponding Special. Then, the Slicer flips the Special face up in the center of the table, reads it out loud to all players, and flips each slice face up in the center of the table.

When you flip each slice of pizza, you need to put it right next to the one you just flipped. Keep going in the same direction, either clockwise or counterclockwise, and each new slice should be next to the last. After flipping all 11 slices, they will come together to form a circle, with the last slice right next to the first one.

Share The Pizza (and Special) With Others

When we play the game called “Pizza Party,” one person takes on the role of the Slicer. It is the Slicer’s job to divide the pizza into equal portions for each player. For example, if there are four players, the pizza is divided into four parts, but each part can have a different number of slices.

It’s important to note that each portion must have at least one slice or the Special, which can be either combined with slices or placed on its own as its own portion. The Slicer is not allowed to rearrange or change the order of the slices in any way.

Now it’s your turn!

After the Slicer finishes dividing the pizza, it’s the player to their left who gets to choose a portion. They can take all of the slices in that portion, including the Special if it’s part of that portion.

Now, it’s decision time for me as a player. I have to choose which slices I want to collect. I’ll keep them face up in front of me and combine them with the slices I’ve already collected. It’s important that I place all slices of the same value next to each other. If needed, I can rearrange the face-up slices to make it work. And if I feel like it, I can also choose to eat some of the slices that have pepperoni on them. Those I’ll place face down. I have the freedom to collect any slices, but only the ones with pepperoni can be eaten.

Now it’s the next player’s turn. They get to choose their slices.

The order goes clockwise around the table, with the Slicer getting the final portion. It’s important for each player to wait their turn and see what slices the player before them is eating and collecting.

The Next Round Begins and a New Slicer is Chosen

When playing the game, the person sitting on the left side of the current Slicer becomes the new Slicer, and we start a new round. We keep playing rounds until all the stacks have been distributed among all the players.

The Game Finishes

Once we finish the final round, the game comes to an end, and it’s time for scoring. The player who is most capable of calculating the tip becomes the Scorekeeper and takes the Guest Check pad to determine the score for each player.

Scoring Based on Pizza Type

How to play New York Slice Official Rules UltraFoodMess

I’m the Scorekeeper and I want to know who has the most slices of each kind of pizza. We start with Veggie, which has 3 slices, and then move on to Cheese, which has 11 slices. The person with the most slices of a certain type gets points equal to the number on that type of slice. If there’s a tie between two or more players, nobody gets points for that type.

I mark the number that corresponds to each type for the player with the most slices of that type. If a player has only half a slice and nobody else has any slices of that type, the player with the half slice is considered to have the majority.

Now let’s talk about special scoring. I’ll ask the players to add up the points they received or lost from Specials marked with an *. Those Specials are all blue.

Lastly, we have Pepperoni & Anchovy Scoring.

Now, let’s talk about how we keep score in this game. It’s pretty simple, really. I’ll ask you how many points you earned from eating pepperonis and subtract any anchovies on collected slices.

Here’s what you do: count the number of pepperonis on your face down slices (the ones you’ve eaten) and subtract the number of anchovies on your collected slices (the ones that are face up). Once you have that number, just tell me, the scorekeeper.

It’s important to note that we don’t count the anchovies on eaten slices or the pepperonis on collected slices. They don’t factor into the score, so we just ignore them.

The Final Score

After we’ve recorded all the scores on the guest check, I’ll add up the points for each player. The player with the highest score is the winner and gets to pick up the check!

If there happens to be a tie, we have a tiebreaker. The tied player who has eaten the most slices (not just pepperonis) will be the winner. But if there’s still a tie, don’t worry! Both players will share the victory, and we’ll split the check between them. Fair and square!

Slices

Numbered Slices

How to play New York Slice Official Rules UltraFoodMess

When it comes to pizza, there are different types of slices to choose from. These slices have numbers on them, which represent their quantity and points value. Let me break it down for you:

The standard pizza slices are the ones with single numbers on them. The number tells you how many slices of that type are in the game and how many points you’ll get if you collect the majority of them.

Now, most of these numbered slices come with pepperoni on them. When you eat a slice with pepperoni, you earn +1 point for each pepperoni you devour. So, the more pepperoni, the more points!

However, there are some slices that have anchovies on them. If you collect these anchovy slices, they will actually subtract points from your score. But here’s the good news: if you eat a slice with anchovies, those anchovies won’t count against you.

But wait, there’s more!

Imagine this: There are these special slices of pizza that we call Combo slices. They are unique because they have two different types of pizza on them. So, when you have a Combo slice, it’s like having an extra half slice of each type of pizza. Pretty cool, right?

Now, here’s the thing. The Combo slices don’t have any pepperoni on them. Weird, huh? That means you can’t eat these Combo slices, unless you have the Combo Cravings Special. It’s a special deal that lets you enjoy the Combo slices with all their deliciousness.

Anchovy Slice

The Anchovy slice is a special kind of pizza slice that I don’t recommend eating. In fact, if you collect it, you’ll lose 3 points! So, it’s definitely not something you want to have on your plate.

Supreme Slice

How to play New York Slice Official Rules UltraFoodMess

When you collect the Supreme slice, you have to put it next to any other slice you already have. From that point forward, it becomes a part of that slice type and cannot be moved to a different type.

If you only have the Supreme slice and no other slices, you have to attach a new slice to it the next time you collect any slices. Eating the Supreme slice earns you 2 points because it has two pepperonis on it.

Today’s Specials

Today’s Specials give you bonuses and penalties during the game. Each round, one Special is added to each pizza that gets sliced. You can have as many Specials as you like.

Normally, the Slicer adds a Special to a specific portion of the pizza. The player who chooses that portion gets the Special on top of any regular slices in that portion.

Imagine you’re playing a fun game of pizza slicing with your friends. This game is called “Slice It Up” and it has some special rules. Let me explain how it works.

First, each player takes turns being the Slicer. The Slicer’s job is to divide the pizza into different portions for everyone to enjoy. But here’s the twist – there are some special portions that can be created. These special portions make the game even more exciting!

When the Slicer slices the pizza, they need to make sure that the total number of portions is equal to the number of players, including any special portions. If there’s a special portion, it will be marked with a *.

At the end of the game, you’ll need to keep track of the points you scored. The special portions are worth some extra points, and you’ll find a Special* line on the Guest Check where you can write down your score for these special portions.

So, get ready to slice some pizza and have a great time with your friends in “Slice It Up”! Enjoy!

Buffet: Collecting a Variety of Pizza

Hey there! Did you know that in this game, you can earn points for collecting different types of pizza? It’s true! For each unique type of pizza you have in your collection, you score 1 point. But here’s the cool part: if you have half slices of a certain type, those count as two types if you don’t already have those types. Oh, and there’s a twist too! The 3 Anchovy slice is considered a different type of pizza. And as for the Supreme slice, it counts as the type of slice it’s attached to, not as a different type. So, aim to collect a wide variety of pizza to rack up those points!

Combo Craving: Stack Up Those Points!

Want to score big? Then listen up! Each Combo slice in your stack is worth a whopping 3 points. So, if you happen to have any collected Combo slices, you can gobble them up when you receive this Special card. And guess what? You can also devour any Combo slices you gain on that turn or future turns. Just remember, you can only munch on them on the turn you acquire those Combo slices. So, keep an eye out for those Combo slices and build up that score!

Cut In Line: Get That Advantage

Imagine this: you’re waiting in line, when suddenly, you get to cut ahead. Sounds pretty sweet, right? Well, in this game, you can do just that with the Cut In Line card. When you obtain this Special card, you can skip ahead and take your turn immediately, even if it’s not your regular turn. It’s a sneaky little trick that can give you a great advantage. So, keep an eye out for the Cut In Line card and use it strategically to stay one step ahead!

Hey there! Have you ever played a game called “Slicer”? It’s a lot of fun! Let me tell you about a few special moves you can make in this game.

First up, we have “Day-old Pizza.” It’s a special move that you can use when you’re not the Slicer anymore. You get to play this move right after the Slicer finishes dividing the pizza into slices. And here’s the best part – you get to choose your slice before anyone else! How cool is that? But remember, if it’s the last round of the game or if you’re playing with just two players, you’ll need to choose another special move instead.

Day-old Pizza*

Dibs!

Next, we have a move called “Dibs!” Here’s how it works: before the Slicer starts slicing the pizza, you can call Dibs on a slice and take it for yourself. But there’s a catch – you can only use this move if you have the Dibs special move card. The Slicer has to ask you if you want to call Dibs before they start slicing. If you’re playing with just two players, you’ll need to pick another special move instead.

Dibs!

The “everyone-else” Diet*

Now, let me tell you about a move called “The ‘everyone-else’ Diet.” It’s a great move to use when you’re feeling a bit greedy. With this move, you can take a slice of pizza that everyone else wants. It’s like having your cake and eating it too! Just remember, if you’re playing with just two players, you’ll need to choose another special move instead.

The “everyone-else” Diet*

So there you have it – three amazing special moves in the game of Slicer. They can help you get an edge over the competition and make the game even more exciting. Give them a try and take your Slicer skills to the next level!

When the game is over, everyone except the Special’s owner loses points. They lose 1 point for every two slices they ate, rounding down. For example, if a player ate seven slices, they would lose 3 points.

The Mystery Slice

Right after you take your slices, but before deciding to eat or keep them, you can take one slice from the three extra face-down slices. You have to choose it without looking at the slices beforehand. You can either eat or keep the Mystery slice. If you eat it, don’t show it to the other players.

Seconds

Before scoring, you have the option to eat as many slices of one type as you want. The type of slice should have pepperonis on it. It’s important to note that this happens before any scoring takes place.

Sneak-a-slice

Hey there! Let me explain a cool rule for a future round when you’re not the Slicer. You have the power to move one slice from one portion to an adjacent portion just before choosing your portion. And guess what? This can only be done once!

If a portion has already been removed, the slices on either side of the removed portion are considered adjacent to each other. Clever, right? But here’s the catch: if this Special card shows up on the last round of a game, you’ll have to choose another Special card from the stack.

Stuffed Crust*

Supersize Combos

Now let’s talk about Supersize Combos! When you collect Combo slices, they’re worth twice as much – that’s two slices of each type on the Combo slice instead of just half a slice each. Talk about a win-win!

Tiebreaker

Here’s an awesome advantage for you: with the Tiebreaker Special card, you automatically win all ties for the majority of types collected. That’s right, you’re the ultimate winner!

You Like Anchovies!

Okay, this one is my personal favorite. When you collect anchovies, instead of subtracting points from your score, each collected anchovy is actually worth +1 point. So go ahead, embrace the anchovies!

I gotta tell you, my friend, those anchovies? They’re not worth a penny. Seriously, skip ’em. But here’s a little trick I’ve got up my sleeve. If you’ve got this Special, all you gotta do is make a little change on that line of the Guest Check. Instead of a minus sign, just switch it to a plus sign. Trust me, it’s as simple as that. You’ll see the effects of this Special recorded on the Pepperonis – Anchovies line. Easy peasy!

Time to Get Your Veggie On

Now, let’s talk about something that’s actually worth your time – veggies! Specifically, the Veggie 3 pizza slices. Each slice you’ve eaten is gonna give you a neat little 3 points. Can you believe it? If you’ve got any of those Veggie slices, go ahead and snack on ’em when you get this Special. And hey, if you’re playing with a friend, and this Special pops up, you’ve got options. Pick another Special from the stack. There’s always more fun to be had!
