Hide and Eeek! Game Rules
Hey there! Welcome to the Hide and Eeek! game. I’m excited to explain the rules to you, so you can start having a blast with your friends. Get ready for an adventure!
To begin, gather a group of pals and select the space where you’ll play. It could be indoors, like a living room, or outdoors, like a backyard. Just make sure everyone agrees on the boundaries of the playing area. Safety first, right?
Next, decide on one person to be “It.” This person will have the important job of searching for the other players. Who doesn’t love a good game of hide-and-seek?
Once “It” closes their eyes and starts counting, it’s time for the other players to scatter and find their hiding spots. Remember to be clever and stealthy, because “It” will be on a mission to find you!
As “It” begins their search, the other players must remain hidden until “It” spots them. But here’s the twist: if you’re found, you must freeze in place and let out an exaggerated “Eeek!” sound. It’s all part of the excitement, trust me.
If you’re one of the last players standing, you can try to save your frozen friends by sneaking up to them and saying “Hide and Eeek!”. If you successfully reach them without getting caught by “It,” they are free to join the game again. How cool is that?
The game continues until all players have been found or until everyone agrees it’s time to switch who’s “It.” Feel free to mix things up by playing in different areas or adding your own creative twists. Make it your own adventure!
So, are you ready to play Hide and Eeek!? Gather your friends, find the perfect hiding spots, and let the fun begin! I can’t wait to hear all the “Eeeks!” and see the huge smiles on your faces. Have a blast!

Hey there! Let me show you a fun game called “Elephant Match”. All you need to do is move the mouse figurine on the grid of cards to find elephants with numbers that match the category die. The one who collects 10 elephant cards first wins!
How to Get Started

- To begin, I shuffle the deck and arrange 36 elephant cards facedown in a grid of 6 by 6.
- I then deal one card to each player, placing them face up in front of us on the table. These cards will be used for scoring.
- The remaining cards are stacked facedown to create a draw pile, which we’ll keep nearby.
- Next, I choose a card from the grid, preferably one near the center.
How to Play

Let’s begin the game by having the player who can make the best elephant noise go first. After that, we’ll take turns going clockwise. To start your turn, roll the dice.
Now, use the mouse to move the cards. You can move them horizontally, vertically, or in any combination. The number you move should match the number rolled on the movement die. Remember, you can’t go back to a card you’ve already passed. Once you’re done moving, look at the category die.
Your objective is to collect cards that are next to the mouse cursor and have the same category as what’s shown on the category die.
Options for the category are:

Higher / Lower: When you play Higher / Lower, you have to decide if the number on the card you pick is higher or lower than the top card in your scoring pile.
Let me explain with an example. Imagine you have a 46 on top of your scoring pile, and you roll the dice, getting “higher”. In this case, you must pick a card with a number higher than 46 to keep the card.

Odd / Even: When you play this game, you have to choose a card that has either an odd or even number. Let’s say the category die shows “odd”, and the number on the card you pick is 37. In this case, you can take that card.
Getting Cards

When you play the game, start by choosing a card next to the one where the mouse landed. Flip it over to see the number on the card. But be careful! If the number on the card doesn’t match the category die, you have to stop your turn right away.
Don’t worry, you can leave the card in the grid, facing up or facing down. Just follow the arrow on the movement die to decide which way to place it.
means you should place the card facing up, while
means it should be placed facing down. And then, it’s time to pass the dice to the next player.
But what if the number on the card matches the category die? Well, then you have a decision to make: 1. You can take the card and end your turn, or 2. You can try to collect more cards.
End your turn
Try to collect more cards
Remember: If you rolled Higher or Lower, the additional cards you collect must be higher or lower than the last card you chose or turned over.
Eek

When I play this game, I’m always on the lookout for cards that have a sneaky little mouse hiding somewhere. It’s a fun challenge to find it! If I happen to turn over a card and spot the mouse, I get to snatch it up and shout “Eeek!” to claim the card and take the next turn.
But here’s the catch – sometimes the mouse is really good at hiding. It can blend in with its surroundings, so I have to keep my eyes peeled and pay close attention. If I miss it, I can always fill in the empty space with a new card from the draw pile, following the arrow on the movement die. Then, I make sure to put the mouse back where it came from.
Oh, and here’s a little tip: if I spot a mouse on a face-up card in the grid later on, I can grab it too! It’s like a bonus opportunity to score some extra points.
Face Up / Face Down Cards
This game gets even more interesting as it goes on. Some cards end up being left face up in the grid. That’s when my memory comes into play. I keep track of those face-up cards and try to move the mouse next to them if they match the category that’s rolled on the category die. It’s like a little game of memory and strategy.
Speaking of memory, I have to be quick to remember the cards I see because they might not stay face-up for long. It’s a fast-paced race against time and my own forgetfulness!
