The Enchanted Altar

Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess

When you can, you have the option to discard a card from your hand. After discarding, you have the opportunity to gain a card, regardless of whether or not you discarded one. The card you gain will be taken from the Supply and placed into your discard pile.

Barracks

Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess

When you add the Band of Misfits card to your deck during a game of Dominion, it is important to understand how it works. The Band of Misfits is a versatile card that can be used to imitate any action card from the Supply.

The Band of Misfits card allows you to play it as if it were any action card of your choosing. This means that you can use it to perform the same action as another card in the game. For example, if you play the Band of Misfits as a Village, you would get +2 actions and draw a card. If you play it as a Market, you would get +1 card, +1 action, +1 buy, and +$1.

When you gain a Band of Misfits card during the game, it comes from the Supply and is put on top of your deck. This means that you will have access to it on your next turn, allowing you to use it as any action card you choose.

Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess

So when you’re playing this particular game, you get to select an Action card from the Supply that costs less than this one, and you treat this card as if you had chosen it yourself. Usually, this means that you follow the instructions on the card that you picked.

For example, let’s say you play the Band of Misfits card and there happens to be a Fortress card in the Supply. You could pick the Fortress card, and as a result, you would draw an additional card and gain 2 extra Actions, since that’s what the Fortress card does when you play it. The Band of Misfits card also assumes the cost, name, and types of the card you selected.

Now, if you decide to use the Band of Misfits card as a card that gets rid of itself, like the Death Cart card, then you would trash the Band of Misfits card (which means it would just be a Band of Misfits card in the trash). On the other hand, if you choose to use the Band of Misfits card as a duration card (from the Seaside set), it will remain in play until your next turn, just like any other duration card would.

So, here’s the deal. If you’re playing Dominion and you decide to use Band of Misfits as a Throne Room, a King’s Court, or a Procession card, and that allows you to play a duration card, well, guess what? Band of Misfits will also stick around. It’s pretty cool, right?

Now, here’s the thing: if you choose to play a Band of Misfits card multiple times using Throne Room, King’s Court, or Procession, you gotta make your decision about what to play it as the first time around. After that, it just keeps copying the same card. Simple, huh?

If you’re playing Procession and you choose Band of Misfits, here’s what happens: you get to use it twice. The first time, you can choose Fortress. When that happens, the Band of Misfits automatically becomes a Fortress. But then, the Band of Misfits gets trashed. Because Fortress has a special ability that lets it return to your hand when it gets trashed, the Band of Misfits goes back to your hand. And not only that, you also gain an Action card that costs exactly one more than Band of Misfits. However, since Band of Misfits has left play and is no longer copying Fortress, you won’t be copying it anymore.

Now, let’s say you use Band of Misfits as a card with a Clean-up ability, like Hermit. In that case, the Band of Misfits will perform that action during Clean-up.

Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess

Have you ever played Horn of Plenty from the Cornucopia expansion? It’s a really interesting card because it can count Band of Misfits as whatever card it was played as before. Let me give you an example: let’s say you play a Band of Misfits as a Fortress, and then play another Band of Misfits as a Scavenger. Now, if you play Horn of Plenty, you get to gain a card costing up to the same amount as the card you played Band of Misfits as. Pretty cool, right?

Now, there are a few things you need to know about Band of Misfits. Firstly, you can only play it as a card that you can see in the Supply. Once the pile of that card runs out, you can no longer use Band of Misfits to play it. And you definitely can’t play it as a non-Supply card like Mercenary. However, there is an exception – you can play it as the top card of the Ruins pile, but no other Ruins cards. Oh, and if you happen to have Sir Martin as the top card of the Knights pile, you can play Band of Misfits as that as well.

Bandit Camp

When you gain a Spoils card, you must draw a card from your deck first. The Spoils card comes from a separate pile called the Spoils pile, which is different from the main Supply pile. After you draw a card, the Spoils card is placed in your discard pile.

Beggar

Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess

When you play this card, you get three Copper cards from the Supply and add them to your hand. If there are less than three Copper cards left, you can still take as many as possible. If another player plays an Attack card, you have the option to discard this card from your hand. By doing so, you gain two Silver cards from the Supply. You place one Silver card on top of your deck and the other one goes into your discard pile. If there is only one Silver card left, it goes on top of your deck. If there are no Silver cards left, you don’t gain any.

Catacombs

Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess

When you play this card, you get to peek at the top three cards of your deck. You have two choices: either add all three cards to your hand or discard all three cards and draw three new ones. Be careful though, because if you choose to discard the cards, you will shuffle them back into your deck and there’s a chance that you may draw them again.

When you decide to trash the Catacombs card, you get to gain a card that costs less than it. It doesn’t matter if you trash Catacombs on your turn or someone else’s turn, and it doesn’t matter who has the card that trashed it originally. The card that you gain will come from the Supply and will be placed in your discard pile.

Count

Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess

Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess

Hey there! Let me walk you through how this card works. You’ve got two choices to make: you can either discard 2 cards from your hand, put a card from your hand on top of your deck, or gain a Copper. Once you’ve made that choice, you move on to the next one. This time, you have the option to either get +, trash your hand, or gain a Duchy.

Let me give you an example to make things clearer. You might decide to discard 2 cards and then gain a Duchy. The cards you gain come from the Supply and go into your discard pile. Now, the interesting thing is that you can still choose an option even if it’s not possible for you to do it.

If you happen to trash multiple cards that have a special effect when trashed, don’t worry! You’ll trash all of them at once, and then you can choose the order in which you want to resolve the effects that stem from trashing those cards.

Counterfeit

Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess

Hey there! I’ve got something amazing for you. It’s a super valuable item called a Treasure. You can use it during your Buy phase, just like other Treasures. But this one has a special trick up its sleeve!

When you play this Treasure, you not only get +1 Buy, but you also have the option to play an extra Treasure card from your hand. And guess what? You get to do it twice!

If you decide to go for it, the catch is that you have to trash that extra Treasure. But don’t worry, you still get to keep any coins it gave you when you played it. Yep, even though you’re throwing it away!

Oh, and here’s a bonus tip: if you use a card called Counterfeit to play a card called Spoils twice, you’ll earn even more Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess! Plus, you’ll also get some #image.jpg from Counterfeit. Pretty cool, right? Just remember, you won’t be able to trash the Spoils card.

If you use Counterfeit to play a special Treasure card, you’ll get to do its effect twice! This applies to cards that have the Treasure type and an additional type, like Harem from the Intrigue set. They count as Treasures and can be played using Counterfeit.

Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess

When you play this card, you get to draw two cards. After that, every other player gains a Ruins card. These Ruins cards come from a separate pile called the Ruins pile in the Supply. These Ruins cards are then put into each player’s discard pile.

When playing this game, you will take turns starting from the player on your left. Each player will take the top Ruins card from the pile and reveal the next one each time. However, if the Ruins pile runs out, players will no longer gain any more Ruins cards. Once all the Ruins cards have been given out, you have the option to play another Cultist card from your hand.

This can be either a card that you just drew from playing the Cultist card or a card that you already had in your hand. The important thing to note is that playing a Cultist card in this way doesn’t use up any additional Actions that you were allowed to play due to other cards like Fortress. The original Cultist card uses up one Action, and that’s all.

When you discard one of your Cultist cards, you will get to draw three new cards. This will happen regardless of whether it is currently your turn or not and regardless of whether the card that caused the Cultist to be discarded was originally yours. In the event that you choose to discard a Cultist while also revealing cards, such as when facing a Knight attack, you will not have the opportunity to draw any of the revealed cards that are about to be discarded.

Death Cart

Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess

Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess

When you play the Death Cart card in a game, something interesting happens. First, you get some extra things, represented by the “+”. This could be anything beneficial for your gameplay, like more cards or additional actions. It gives you a little boost, which is always nice to have.

But there’s a catch, a choice you need to make. You have to decide between two options: either trash an Action card that you have in your hand, or get rid of the Death Cart itself. The decision is yours to make, but there is a twist. If you don’t have any Action cards, you must get rid of the Death Cart. However, even if you do have an Action card, you still have the option to trash the Death Cart if you want to.

Now, what exactly is an Action card? It’s any card that has multiple types, and one of those types is “Action.” So, if a card has multiple abilities or functions, and one of them involves taking an action, then it’s considered an Action card.

Now, let’s talk about what happens when you gain a Death Cart. You can get this card by buying it or acquiring it in some other way during the game. When you gain a Death Cart, you also receive something called “Ruins.” It’s like a bonus that comes with the Death Cart. Specifically, you gain 2 Ruins every time you get a Death Cart.

But here’s the thing, the Ruins you get are not specific cards. Instead, you just take the top 2 Ruins from a pile of Ruins available in the game. It doesn’t matter what those Ruins are, you just grab the top 2 and add them to your collection.

Just keep in mind that if there are not enough Ruins left in the pile, you can only take as many as there are. So, if there are only 1 or no Ruins left, you will only get 1 or no Ruins when you gain a Death Cart.

The Ruins come from the Supply and go to your discard pile. Everyone can see which ones you got. You get the Ruins if you gain Death Cart. If Possession is used to make someone else buy Death Cart, the person who played Possession gets the Death Cart and the Ruins too.

If you use Trader to take a Silver instead of Death Cart, you don’t get any Ruins. It doesn’t matter whose turn it is. If you use Ambassador to give Death Carts to other players, they also get Ruins. Passing cards with Masquerade doesn’t count as gaining them.

Feodum is the name of a card.

Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess

Hey there! Let’s talk about the Feodum card, shall we? It’s a special card that you can use when you’re playing a game. If you’re playing with just two people, you’ll need 8 Feodum cards. But if you have three or more players, then you’ll need 12 of these cards.

Now, here’s where things get interesting. At the end of the game, each Feodum card is worth a certain amount of points. How many points, you ask? Well, it’s based on the number of Silvers you have in your deck. For every 3 Silvers you have, your Feodums will be worth 1 point. Pretty cool, right? But here’s the catch: if you have any leftover Silvers, we always round down. So, if you have 11 Silvers, your Feodums will be worth 3 points each.

But wait, there’s more! If you happen to trash a Feodum card during the game, something cool happens. And by cool, I mean you get to gain 3 Silvers. These Silvers come from the Supply and are put into your discard pile. But remember, if there aren’t enough Silvers left in the Supply, you’ll only get as many as you can. So don’t get too greedy!

Now, let’s move on to the Forager card…

Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess

If you have a card in your hand that you don’t want anymore, you can choose to trash it. Trashing a card means getting rid of it from your hand and putting it aside. Even if you don’t have a card to trash, you still get a bonus. For each Treasure card with a different name that is in the trash, you gain some additional money. You also get an extra action and an extra buy. So even though trashing a card can be a tough decision, it can give you some nice benefits in return.

Hey there! Let me break it down for you. When it comes to Treasure cards in the game, having multiple copies of the same card doesn’t give you extra benefits. Picture this: if you have four Coppers, one Counterfeit, and six Estates in the trash, you only get +1. However, if a card has multiple types and one of them is Treasure (for example, Harem from Intrigue), it counts as a Treasure card.

Let’s Talk About Fortress

Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess

When you play this card, you get to draw an extra card and you get 2 additional Actions. It doesn’t matter whose turn it is when Fortress is discarded – if it is thrown away, you retrieve it from the waste pile and add it back to your hand. You don’t get to decide whether or not to do this – it happens automatically.

Even though you get to retrieve Fortress, you still technically discarded it. For example, let’s say you play Death Cart and decide to discard Fortress. The condition on Death Cart that states “if you do” is met because you did discard an Action card. Therefore, you don’t have to discard Death Cart.

Graverobber

Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess

If you pick one of the options, go ahead and do as much of it as you can. Don’t worry if you can’t complete the whole thing, you can still choose it. You can search through the trash whenever you want. If you decide to take a card from the trash, everyone else will get to see it, and you’ll place it on the top of your deck. And if you don’t have any cards left in your deck, that card will be the only one in it.

If there’s no card in the trash that costs from Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess to Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess, you won’t be able to get one. Cards with Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess in their cost (from Alchemy) don’t fall into the Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess to Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess range. If you decide to get rid of an Action card from your hand, the card you gain will come from the Supply and go straight to your discard pile.

The Mysterious Hermit

Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess

When I’m playing this, I take a look at my discard pile and then I get to decide whether I want to get rid of a card that isn’t a Treasure, from either my hand or discard pile. I don’t have to throw away a card and I can’t throw away Treasures.

Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess

Hey there! Let’s dive into the fascinating world of Dominion cards, shall we? One type of card you might come across is called a Treasure, and it’s pretty special. Take the Harem card from the Intrigue set, for example. It’s a Treasure card, but it also has other types too.

Now, here’s where things get interesting. When you trash that Harem card, or even if you decide not to, something exciting happens. You get to gain another card, but there’s a catch – it can’t cost more than . This new card comes from the Supply and goes straight into your discard pile. And let me tell you, gaining a card is a must if it’s possible. It’s like unwrapping a surprise gift!

But that’s not all! There’s another twist. If you ever find yourself discarding the Hermit card from play (usually during Clean-up after playing it in your Action phase), and you haven’t bought any cards that turn, get ready for something cool. You’ll trash the Hermit card, and in return, you’ll gain a special card called a Madman. It’s like a secret treasure hiding in the shadows.

So, in this game of Dominion, every choice you make matters. Whether you decide to trash a card or not, the possibility of gaining a new card is always there. And keep an eye out for those special cards like the Madman – they may just hold the key to your victory.

Hey there! Let’s talk about The Madman card. This card is a bit different from the others because it comes from a special pile called the Madman pile. You won’t find this pile in the regular Supply. Instead, when you buy a card, you’ll put The Madman in your discard pile.

Now, here’s the thing – it doesn’t matter how you gained other cards. The only thing that matters is whether or not you bought a card. If you did, you’ll get The Madman. But wait! If there are no Madman cards left in the pile, tough luck, you won’t get one.

Oh, and there’s a special situation to keep in mind. If you have a card called Hermit in play and you don’t discard it during the Clean-up phase, the ability that gets rid of The Madman won’t trigger. This can happen if you use a card like Scheme from the Hinterlands expansion to put Hermit back on top of your deck. Just something to keep in mind!

Hovel

Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess

Welcome to the Shelter! Let’s get started with the setup. The Shelter card is never included in the Supply.

When you purchase a Victory card, something interesting can happen if you have the Hovel card in your hand. You have the option to trash the Hovel instead of keeping it.

A card can have multiple types, and if one of those types is Victory, then it’s considered a Victory card. So keep an eye out for cards with different types, including Victory.

When you decide to trash the Hovel, you don’t gain anything in return. However, getting rid of it can provide some relief. So don’t hesitate to trash that Hovel when you have the chance!

Let’s Talk About Hunting Grounds

Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess

When you play this card, you get to draw four cards. If the card is trashed, you have the option to gain either a Duchy or three Estates. These cards will be taken from the Supply and added to your discard pile. If you choose to gain the three Estates but there aren’t three left in the Supply, you can still gain as many as are available.

The Ironmonger Card

Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess

When you play Junk Dealer, you must follow a specific sequence of actions. First, you draw a card from your deck. Then, you reveal the top card of your deck and have two options: discard it or put it back on top. This decision is crucial and can greatly impact your gameplay strategy.

The bonuses you receive are based on the type of card you reveal. If the card has two types, you get both bonuses. Let’s say you revealed a Harem card from the Intrigue set. In this case, you would draw an additional card and receive a + bonus.

Unleashing the Power of Junk Dealer

Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess

When I play this game, one thing I have to keep in mind is that if I have a card in my hand that I want to get rid of, I can choose to trash it. However, there is a catch – I can only trash a card if it is possible for me to do so. Before I make this decision, I have to draw a card.

The Warriors of the Kingdom

Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess

Welcome to the Knights pile! Here, every card is one-of-a-kind. Each card in this pile has a special ability that is unique to that card, in addition to a common basic ability shared by all the cards. It’s like a treasure trove of surprises!

Before we begin, let’s shuffle the Knights pile. Make sure to keep the cards face down, except for the top one. This top card is the only one that can be taken from the pile.

Welcome to the world of Dark Ages and Preparation. Let’s dive into the rules for Knights in the proper order. First, there’s Sir Michael, who has a special ability. When you play Sir Michael, each player has to discard some cards from their deck. Before trashing cards, players reveal the top 2 cards of their deck, choose one that costs anywhere from Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMessto Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess to trash, and discard the rest. But here’s the twist – if you trash a Knight while doing this, you also trash the Knight you played to cause this event. Pretty wild, right?

When it’s my turn, I will use this ability. The person to my left will go first, and then we will continue in order. Keep in mind that certain cards, like the one with a cost in Alchemy, don’t require the usual payment of coins to buy them. If I have to discard a card, I will have a choice, but only if the two revealed cards have a cost between Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess and Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess. However, if both cards fall within that range and one is a Knight, picking the other card won’t result in the Knight being trashed.

I want to talk about a game called Dominion. It’s a fun card game where you build your own kingdom, and one of the cards that you can play is Sir Vander. Now, when Sir Vander is in play and someone else plays a card called Armory, you can gain Sir Martin. Pretty cool, right? But that’s not all. If someone decides to trash Sir Vander, you get something even better – a Gold card! It doesn’t matter whose turn it is, as long as Sir Vander gets trashed, you’re the one who gets the Gold. And guess what? The Gold card doesn’t come from your deck but straight from the Supply. After all, who doesn’t love a little extra Gold in their discard pile?

When I play Dame Anna, I can decide to get rid of zero, one, or two cards from my hand. Dame Josephine is a type of Victory card that is worth 2 points at the end of the game. However, the Knight pile is not a type of Victory pile, so it doesn’t receive a counter from Trade Route (a card from the Prosperity set) even if Dame Josephine is on top. If I decide to use the Knights with Black Market (a promotional card), I add a Knight directly to the Black Market deck instead of using the randomizer card. Sir Martin only costs #image.jpg, but the other Knights all cost Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess.

Madman

Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess

Hey there, I’ve got a card that’s a little different from the rest. You can’t find it in the Supply like other cards; you can only get it through the Hermit card. It’s called the Madman.

When you play the Madman card, something cool happens. You get to take two more Actions, which means you can do even more stuff on your turn. But here’s the twist: after you play it, you have to put it back in the Madman pile. No questions asked.

Now, let me tell you what happens next. If you were able to put the Madman card back in the pile, you get to draw a card for every card you’re holding in your hand. Let’s say you had three cards left after playing Madman. You’d get to draw three more cards. How awesome is that?!

So, if you’re looking for a card that lets you take more Actions and draw more cards, then you’re gonna love the Madman card. It’s a real game-changer!

Normally, there’s usually no problem sending Madman back to the Madman pile. But there are some cases where you might not be able to, like when you play Madman twice using Procession, Throne Room (from Dominion), or King’s Court (from Prosperity).

Let’s say you have a Procession card and you play Madman with it. You’ll get +2 Actions, send Madman back to the Madman pile, draw a card for each card in your hand, get another +2 Actions, but this time you won’t be able to return Madman to the pile and draw more cards. You also won’t be able to get rid of Madman, and instead, you’ll gain an Action card that costs exactly the same if you can.

Marauder

Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess

When you play the game, you have the chance to gain a special card called Spoils. It’s not part of the main cards that are available for everyone, but it comes from a separate pile called the Spoils pile. This card goes into your discard pile, and it’s a nice bonus to have. However, if there are no Spoils cards left, you won’t get one.

After you gain your Spoils card, it’s time for the other players to gain something too. They get a different kind of card called Ruins. These cards come from a different pile called the Ruins pile, which is part of the main cards available to everyone. Like Spoils, Ruins also go into the discard pile of the players who gain them.

When it’s time for the other players to gain their Ruins cards, it happens in a specific order. The player to your left goes first, and then each player in turn order takes a Ruins card from the top of the pile. As each Ruins card is taken, the next one is revealed for the next player to choose.

It’s important to note that if the Ruins pile runs out of cards, then players stop gaining Ruins at that point. So make sure to keep an eye on how many Ruins are left!

Market Square

Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess

Hey there! When I play this card, I get to draw a card and I also gain +1 Action and +1 Buy. Pretty cool, right? Oh, and here’s the best part – if one of my cards gets trashed, I have the option to discard Market Square from my hand. Doing so allows me to gain a shiny Gold card!

Hold on, though, because the Gold doesn’t just magically appear in my hand. It actually comes from the Supply and goes straight into my discard pile. But here’s the catch – if there’s no more Gold left in the Supply, tough luck, I won’t be able to gain one. Sad times, I know. On the bright side, I can discard multiple Market Squares if multiple cards of mine are trashed. Talk about making the most out of a bad situation!

Mercenary

Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess

Hey there! I’ve got an exciting card to talk to you about today. It’s called Mystic, and let me tell you, it’s a unique one.

First things first, you won’t find Mystic in the usual Supply. Nope, this card can only be obtained through a special card called Urchin. Pretty cool, right?

Now, when you decide to play Mystic, you have the option to trash not just one, but two cards from your hand. If you choose to do so, here’s what happens next:

  • You get to draw two new cards, which is always a good thing. More options, more possibilities!
  • You’ll also get a nice little + symbol. That means something good is coming your way, but it can vary depending on the other cards you have.
  • And this is the interesting part – every other player will have to discard down to just three cards in their hand. It’s like shaking things up and keeping everyone on their toes.

But hold on, there’s more to this card than meets the eye. You see, there are some cards that can respond to Mystic’s attack. Cards like Beggar are one example. However, if you plan on using these reaction cards, you have to make that decision before you even decide whether or not to trash two cards from your hand.

Here’s a little tip: if you only have one card in your hand when you play Mystic, you can choose to trash that one card. But, there’s a catch – you won’t be able to draw any new cards or get that + symbol. Tough choice, right?

And if the cards you decide to trash have special effects when they’re trashed, don’t worry. You trash them both first and then decide what order you want to resolve their effects. It’s all in your hands.

So, that’s Mystic for you. A card that brings a touch of mystery and strategic decision-making to your game of Dominion. Are you ready to give it a try?

Mystic

Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess

When you play this card, you gain +1 Action and +$1. After that, you have to choose a card to name, such as “Copper”. Then you reveal the top card of your deck. If the card you named is the same as the one you revealed, you get to put the revealed card into your hand. However, if you didn’t name the right card, you have to put the revealed card back on top of your deck. It’s important to remember that you don’t have to name a card that is already being used in the game. Also, it’s crucial that the names match exactly for you to be able to get the card. For example, if you name Sir Destry but reveal Sir Martin, it won’t count as a match. Lastly, you don’t need to name a card that is available in the Supply.

Necropolis

Welcome to the Shelter! It’s a special type of card that doesn’t go into your supply. Instead, it’s an Action card that gives you an extra two Actions when you play it. Let’s take a closer look at one specific Shelter card called the Overgrown Estate.

The Overgrown Estate is a unique card that can be quite puzzling. When someone plays it, you’re granted with two additional Actions to use during your turn. It’s like a secret power-up that helps you take more actions than usual.

Now, I know you might be wondering why this card is called the Overgrown Estate. Well, picture this: You stumble upon an old, abandoned estate that has been neglected for years. The once beautiful gardens and grand architecture are now hidden behind overgrown plants and vines, giving the estate a mysterious and enchanting aura. As you explore the estate, you discover hidden corners and secret passages, hinting at the rich history within its walls.

In a similar way, the Overgrown Estate card represents the untapped potential and hidden opportunities that are waiting for you to discover. It’s a card that invites you to explore beyond the surface and make the most out of your turn. So, if you’re looking for an edge in your gameplay, the Overgrown Estate can be your secret weapon to elevate your strategy and regenerate your response.

Next time you come across the Overgrown Estate card, remember the intriguing estate it’s named after. Use it wisely, and explore the actions you can take to maximize your gameplay. Have fun on your Dominion journey!

Hey there! Welcome to the Shelter. It’s an interesting card in the Dominion game, even though it doesn’t really contribute to your score. But don’t let that fool you! This card has some special abilities that can come in handy.

Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess

If you decide to trash the Shelter card, something cool happens. You get to draw another card right away, even if you’re already in the middle of doing something else. Let me give you an example: let’s say you use the Altar card to trash the Overgrown Estate card. Well, guess what? You draw a card immediately, and then you can gain another card that costs the same as the Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess card.

Now, here’s the thing: you can’t use the Shelter card to trash itself. It’s not that kind of card. It just does its own thing when you manage to trash it. It’s pretty unique like that!

Pillage

Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess

First, let’s talk about Pillage. This card allows you to cause some chaos! When you play Pillage, you get to target each player who has 5 or more cards in their hand. They have to reveal their hand to you, which means they show you what cards they have. But that’s not all – you also get to choose one card from their hand for them to discard. It’s kind of like rummaging through their things and taking something away!

Now, let’s move on to the Poor House. When you play this card, it’s all about finding value in what others may see as worthless. The Poor House lets you gain 1 Coin for each Action card you have in play. So, if you have a lot of Action cards, you can really reap the benefits and accumulate some coins. It’s a great way to turn what may seem like a bad situation into something positive.

Imagine this: First, you receive a reward, represented by a plus sign. Then, you reveal your hand of cards and discard a certain number of Treasure cards, which results in losing coins. It’s possible to lose more than just the initial reward, but no matter what, the minimum amount of coins you will always have is represented by a specific card. Keep in mind that cards that have two types, with one of them being a Treasure type, are considered Treasure cards.

Now, let’s talk about a particular card called “Procession”.

Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess

If you want, you can choose to play an Action card from your hand. When you do this, you have to play it a second time, then get rid of it, and finally get a new Action card that costs exactly one more than the one you just got rid of (even if you somehow didn’t manage to get rid of it).

Once you decide to play an Action card, you have to get a new card. It’s not something you can choose not to do. However, if there is no card available in the Supply that costs exactly the right amount, you won’t be able to get a new card. If something happens while you’re getting rid of the card – like drawing 3 cards because you got rid of a Cultist – that thing will happen first, before you get a new card.

When you play a card called Procession, you get another card from the Supply and put it in your discard pile. You don’t need any extra Actions to do this. However, playing Procession itself counts as using one of your Actions. You can’t play any other cards before or in-between playing the Action card multiple times, unless the Action card specifically allows it, like Procession does.

If you play Procession on a Procession, you will play the same Action card twice, then trash it. After that, you gain an Action card that costs #image.jpgmore than the one you trashed. You play the new Action card twice, trash it too, and gain another Action card that costs #image.jpgmore. Finally, you trash the first Procession card and get an Action card that costs #image.jpgmore than the second Procession card you trashed.

If you have a card that gives you an extra action, like Vagrant, you’ll have two actions to use instead of just one when you play that card. This means you’ll have more flexibility in your turn. Similarly, if you use the Procession card on a Duration card (from the Seaside expansion), the Procession card will stay active until your next turn, and the Duration card will have its effect twice on that turn. It’s like getting a double dose of the Duration card’s benefits!

The Pesky Rats

Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess

Let me walk you through the steps of playing this game. First, you need to draw a card from the deck. After that, you get to add a Rats card from the supply to your discard pile. Make sure not to trash any Rats card from your hand, as that’s not allowed.

However, if there are no Rats cards left in the supply, don’t worry. You won’t gain one in that case.

Now, if you find yourself with only Rats cards in your hand, reveal your hand and skip the step of trashing a card. If you do end up trashing a Rats card, don’t forget to draw a replacement card. This happens regardless of whose turn it is and whether the card that trashes Rats belongs to you or another player.

Oh, and here’s an interesting twist: there are actually 20 copies of the Rats card in this game, instead of the usual 10. The pile starts with a full 20 copies, no matter how many players there are.

Let’s Talk About “Rebuild”

So here’s what you can do: tell me any card you want, even if it’s not being used in this game or if it’s a Victory card. Then watch as I reveal cards from your deck one by one, until I find a Victory card that’s not the one you named. If I happen to run out of cards, don’t worry! Just shuffle your discard pile and keep going, without mixing in the cards I’ve already shown you. But if you’re unlucky enough to run out of cards and have no more left in your discard pile, well, that’s where the game ends for you. You’ll have to discard everything and call it a day. Tough break, huh?

If you happen to come across a Victory card that doesn’t match the one you called, here’s what you do: get rid of the other cards you revealed, throw away the incorrectly named Victory card, and then replace it with a different Victory card from the Supply that costs up to one more than the card you trashed. This new card will be placed in your discard pile.

Rogue

If there’s a card in the trash that costs between Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMessand Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess, you have to take one of them – no choices here. You can check the trash whenever you want. And remember, the other players get to see which card you took. The card you gain goes right into your discard pile. But wait, cards with Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess in their cost (from Alchemy) don’t fall into the Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess to Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess range.

If there isn’t a card in the trash that costs between Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess and Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess, then things get interesting. Instead, each player reveals the top 2 cards from their deck, picks one that costs between Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess and Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess to get rid of, and discards the rest. We decide who goes first by starting with the player on your left.

Ruined Library

When you play this card, you get to draw an additional card. It’s called a Ruins because it represents a crumbling, abandoned marketplace.

The Importance of Choosing the Right Card

When you play Ruined Village, you’ll receive an additional Buy. It’s a Ruins card that can be a bit confusing at first.

When you use this card, you get an extra action. It’s called a Ruins card;

Now let’s talk about Sage:

If you run out of cards while showing cards, shuffle your discard pile (excluding the cards you’re showing) and continue. If you run out of cards to show and have no cards in your discard pile, stop there. Discard everything you’ve shown and do not get a card.

If you uncover a card that costs Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess, or more, add that card to your hand and discard the rest. For instance, if you uncover Copper, then Copper, then Curse, then Province; because Province costs Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess, you would stop there, put Province in your hand, and discard the two Coppers and the Curse.

Scavenger

Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess

Hey there! So, let’s talk about what happens when you need to shuffle your deck while playing your favorite card game. Putting your deck into your discard pile is a choice you can make, but picking a card from your discard pile to put on top of your deck is mandatory. You have to do it, unless of course, you don’t have any cards in your discard pile. If that’s the case, then you don’t need to make any changes to your deck.

Now, here’s an interesting tidbit – shuffling your deck won’t activate a special card called Tunnel. This card is from the Hinterlands expansion, and it stays calm during deck shuffling. So, no need to worry about it!

But what if your deck becomes empty? Maybe you played all your cards and now they are chilling in the discard pile. Well, in this scenario, the card you put on top of your deck will be the only card in your deck. It’s a pretty lonely situation, but sometimes that’s just how it goes.

Spoils

In the world of the game, there is an item called “Spoils” that you can only get from certain places like Bandit Camp, Marauder, and Pillage. When you use this item called “Spoils,” you get some extra money to use on your turn and then put it back where you found it. Just so you know, you don’t have to use any treasures you have in your hand when you play this card.

Squire

Hey there! When you play this card, you get a bonus of +X, and you can choose to either get +2 Actions, +2 Buys, or gain a Silver card. Oh, by the way, the Silver card comes from the Supply and goes into your discard pile. Now, if you somehow trash the Squire card, you’ll get an Attack card as a replacement. This Attack card also comes from the Supply and goes into your discard pile. Pretty neat, huh? You have the option to gain any Attack card that’s available in the Supply. However, if there are no Attack cards available, then you won’t get one. Bummer!

Storeroom

Here’s a neat trick: you can toss away some cards from your hand and get some fresh ones in return. It’s like hitting the reset button! Let me explain how it works.

The Art of Survival

Surviving means adapting, and in this game, being able to discard and draw cards is a key skill. When you decide to discard cards, you can choose as many as you like and kiss them goodbye. It’s like saying farewell to old friends.

But don’t worry, because for each card you ditched, you’ll get a shiny new one to replace it. It’s like refreshing your hand with a breath of new possibilities. Your hand gets a makeover!

Now here’s the cool part: after you draw your new cards, you can, once again, discard any number of cards your heart desires. You’re in control! And guess what? This time, each card you send to the discard pile will give you a little boost. It’s like they’re thanking you for letting them go.

So, remember this magical formula:

– Discard cards

– Draw new cards

– Discard cards again for an extra boost!

Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess

When you come across the choice to discard cards, you have two options: either discard both cards or return them both to the top. It’s not possible to only discard one card. This particular card is known as a Ruins, and you can find more information about it in the Additional Rules for the Dark Ages expansion and the Setup section.

Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess

When I play this card, I get to draw a card and I get an extra turn. Then, all the other players have to discard cards until they have only 4 left in their hands. If a player already has 4 or fewer cards in hand, they don’t have to do anything.

While the Urchin card is in play, if I play another Attack card, I have the option to get rid of the Urchin before resolving the Attack. If I choose to do so, I gain a Mercenary card. The Mercenary card comes from a separate pile and goes into my discard pile, not the main supply of cards.

If there are no more Mercenary cards left in the pile, then I don’t get to gain one. Also, if I play the same Urchin card twice in one turn, like with the Procession card, I can’t trash it for a Mercenary. However, if I play two different Urchin cards, playing the second one allows me to trash the first one and gain a Mercenary.

Vagrant

Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess

When you play the Wandering Minstrel card, you get to draw a card first and then reveal the top card of your deck. Here’s what happens next: If the top card is a Curse, Ruins, Shelter, or Victory card, you add it to your hand. But if it’s not one of those, you put it back on top of your deck. Now, if the card has multiple types and at least one of those types is Curse, Ruins, Shelter, or Victory, then it still goes into your hand. It’s like having a smart musician who knows just what kind of cards you need in your hand. Pretty neat, huh?

Dark Ages Kingdom Card Descriptions UltraFoodMess

So, here’s what you do: first, take a card from your deck. Then, you’re gonna reveal the top 3 cards of your deck. If there aren’t enough cards in your deck, don’t worry – just shuffle your discard pile and use those cards too. Even if there still aren’t enough cards, just reveal the ones you have. Now, pay attention: if any of those cards are Action cards, put ’em right back on top of your deck in any order you want. But if none of ’em are Action cards, well, tough luck – no cards go back on top. Simple as that!
