If you want to play the complete game, try adding these advanced rules. First, there’s a setup rule that lets you customize your Personal Bonus Tile. Then, we introduce a crucial component of the game: the Leader Cards. During the Actions phase, you can use these cards, which have powerful special abilities. However, there are certain requirements you must meet in order to play them.

Setting Up the Game

Instead of simply taking a Personal Bonus Tile, you now have the option to place them with the advanced side facing up on the table. Then, starting with the last player, each person selects a Personal Bonus Tile of their choice and puts it next to their Personal Board.

Hey there! Let’s get started on the game. Shuffle the Leader Cards and give each player 4 cards. Take a look at your cards and pick one that you want to keep. Pass the rest of the cards to the player on your right. Keep doing this until every player has 4 cards in total.

What are Leader Cards?

When you want to play a Leader card, you need to meet certain requirements listed on the card. These requirements are not costs that you have to pay, but rather conditions that you have to fulfill in order to play the card. You must have the necessary requirements at the time of playing the card, even if you no longer have them afterwards.

Each Leader card also has a special ability that is either Once Per Round or Permanent. The Once Per Round ability allows you to gain bonuses when you activate it using a Leader Action. You can only activate these effects once per round.

On the other hand, Permanent abilities have effects that are applied in specific situations, so you can activate them more than once per round.

Leader Actions

When I’m in the middle of playing, there’s a special time called the Actions Phase. This is when I get to do some pretty cool stuff without even having to put down a Family Member. Saying Goodbye to a Leader Card

Using a Leader Card
