TROLLIN

Hey there! Welcome to Trollin, a game that puts a twist on the usual trick-taking games. The main objective is still to take the most tricks, but here’s the catch: if you end up with more poison cards than anyone else, you don’t score any points. Worth the risk? Give it a go and find out!

LET’S GET STARTED

To begin the game, we need to remove the aces, tens, Jacks, Queens, and Kings from the deck. These cards will be used for gameplay. Each player will be dealt nine cards. The remaining cards will be set aside and not used in the current round. Ready to play!

HOW TO PLAY

In this game, Spades are the top cards. Hearts, on the other hand, are seen as bad cards. When it’s your turn, just play it like any other card game. At the end of each round, the player who collects the most Heart cards doesn’t get any points. The other players, however, get one point for each trick they win in that round.

If you want, you can declare yourself the Troll for the round, but you have to do it before anyone else. You have to declare it before any tricks are played. If you’re the Troll, you must try to capture as many Heart cards as possible during the round.

If you succeed in capturing all the Heart cards, you get one point for each trick you win, and your opponents get nothing. But if you can’t capture all the Heart cards, you don’t get any points for that round. At the end of the game, everyone adds up their points. The player with the most points wins!

END OF GAME

The game ends when a player reaches a certain score or when a set number of rounds have been played. This is decided by the group before the game starts. At the end of the game, each player adds up their points. The player with the highest score is declared the winner!
