The mind game rules – how to play the mind

THE POWER OF THE MIND

Our minds are like a challenging puzzle that requires coordination and teamwork to solve. To succeed, we must unite our thoughts and work together as a cohesive unit. It’s a game of strategy where we must arrange our cards from lowest to highest, but here’s the twist – we can’t communicate what cards we hold.

We need to be patient, synchronize our movements, and navigate through twelve challenging levels to emerge victorious. A single misplaced card can cost us dearly, as each mistake leads to the loss of a Life card. Once we lose five Life cards, the battle is lost.

THE STARTING POINT

Let’s start by shuffling the deck and dealing each player one card for the first round, two cards for the second round, and so on until we reach level twelve. Remember, you can’t tell anyone what cards you have. Any additional cards can be placed face down in a pile.

Depending on the number of players, your team will receive a certain number of Life cards and Throwing Stars. These cards are placed face up in the center of the group. For two players, you’ll get two Life cards and one Throwing Star. For three players, you’ll receive three Life cards and one Throwing Star. For four players, you’ll have four Life cards and one Throwing Star.

LET’S PLAY THE MIND

Alright, let’s get started. We all need to jump right into the game to get in the zone. When we’re ready, we can begin. If anyone needs a pause or their concentration refocused, they just need to say “stop” and put their hand on the table.

Now, down come the cards. Each player places a card in ascending order. The one with the lowest number puts theirs face up, and we all follow suit, increasing the numbers. No talking about our cards, not even a whisper. We finish a level when all the cards are down.

If I put down a card and someone else has a lower one, the game stops right away. That means we lose a Life. Any cards that are lower than the one I played get put aside, and we keep playing.

We keep playing like this, and it gets harder as we get more cards. If we finish all the levels, we win! But if we lose all our Life cards, we lose the game.

GAME OVER

The game is over when we finish all twelve levels and become the winners! It can also end if we lose all our Life Cards and become the losers!
