THE AMAZING DRAGON RACE

GETTING TO KNOW THE AMAZING DRAGON RACE

Hey there! Welcome to the amazing world of dragon racing, where I get to be a fearless dragon rider! In this game, we’ll be competing against each other to win the ultimate prize and become legendary in dragon-racing history. Cool, right? We’ll need to use our brains and a deck of cards to race across the board, stopping other players from taking the lead while avoiding their attacks at the same time!

SETTING UP THE GAME

First things first, let’s set up the game. We’ll start by placing the game board right in the middle of our playing area. Now it’s time to choose our dragons and riders – awesome! Make sure to grab your Card Legend before we start. We’ll place all our playing pieces on the “Start” spot on the board.

The cards are shuffled together, and each player is dealt four cards. The remaining cards are placed face down in the middle of the playing area, within reach of all players. This will be the drawing deck. The player on the dealer’s left will begin the game, with gameplay continuing clockwise around the group.

How to Play

When it’s your turn, you get to pick up enough cards to make five in your hand. Then, you have three options to move forward on the board. You can choose to play a numbered card from your hand. If you play a card that has your emblem on it, you can play another card, and move even farther along the board. The number on the card determines how many spaces you move.

If you want to play a card game called “Dragon Dash,” you have a few different options. One option is to play a pair of cards with the same number, which allows you to move your dragon to the next watering hole. It’s important to remember that both cards in the pair must be played at the same time.

Another option is to play three cards of the same number, which also lets you move to the next watering hole. Just like with the pair, all three cards must be played together.

Lastly, you can choose to play a social card from your hand. This card will have instructions that all players must follow. If you’re already at a watering hole, you don’t have to participate in the social card’s instructions.

Once you’ve played your card(s) and moved your dragon, your turn is over. Then, it’s the next player’s turn, starting with the person to your left. If the draw pile of cards ever runs out, all the discarded cards are shuffled and used as the new draw pile.

End of the Game

The game ends when a player reaches the Finish spot on the board. The first player to do so is the winner!
