Sweet existence – learn to play with

Welcome to the Wonderful World of Sweet Existence

Get ready for a fun-filled, family-friendly adventure with Sweet Existence, a card game inspired by Nathan W. Pyle’s beloved Strange Planet webcomic and book series. Immerse yourself in the hilarious and imaginative world of Pyle’s quirky beings as you embark on a journey like no other.

In this game, each card features the unique humor and distinctive appearance of Pyle’s characters. With a collection of Action Cards, you’ll navigate through various life events, build relationships, and strive to collect the coveted Sweet Disks.

Your ultimate goal is to gather as many Sweet Disks as you can, but beware of the dreaded Perish Card! One wrong move and the game could come to a screeching halt. Fans of Strange Planet will undoubtedly adore this game, bursting with the same comedic brilliance found in Pyle’s iconic comics.

Let’s Set Up Your Adventure

First things first, let’s get everything ready for an unforgettable game night. Start by shuffling the Action Cards and placing the deck face down in the center of the group. Next, shuffle the Existence Squares and deal each player three Existence Cards. Lastly, shuffle the Connection Squares and distribute one to each player.

So, here’s how it all begins: I flip my Connection Square and find out who I’m connected to. And guess what? Everyone gets six Sweet Disks. Boom! We’re all set to start the game!

GAMEPLAY

Alrighty, let’s get this show on the road. Any player, it can be me or anyone else, grabs a card from the top of the Action Square pile and reads it out loud. Then, we take turns, going around the group, so everybody gets a chance to draw from the Action Square deck.

Now, pay attention because things get interesting. If we draw a pink Action Square, everyone has to do the action listed on the card. It’s like a group mission, ya know? But if it’s a purple Action Square, we can give it to another player as a gift. Nice, right? Oh, and here’s the catch – once we have two Action Squares, we gotta flip one of our Existence Squares.

Hey, don’t forget this part. You can only sneak a peek at your Existence Squares once. So you better keep track of where those Perish Cards are hiding, or you might just lose the game real quick. Get your memory game on!

When someone plays a Perish Card, the game promptly comes to a close, and the scores are tallied. If you’re the one who played the Perish Card or any players connected to you through Connection Squares, you’re all immediately removed from the game. The players who are left count up their Sweet Disks, and whoever has the most is declared the winner!

END OF GAME

The end of the game is marked by someone perishing. If there were any connected players, they perish as well, losing their chance to win. Out of the players who remain, the one with the highest number of Sweet Disks is crowned the champion!
