Strategy – learn to play with

By: Dennis B. B. Taylor

Let’s Play Strategy

Strategy is a really cool game of Solitaire where your success is determined right from the start. In fact, the deal is the most important part of winning this game. During the deal, we need to be smart and put the cards in the right place so that we can play them later and win. That’s why they named it “Strategy.”

The Cards and the Layout

In Strategy, we use a regular deck of cards with 52 cards. The layout is pretty simple. First, we shuffle the whole deck and then we deal all the cards face up into eight piles. We take our time and add one card at a time to each pile. And whenever we see an Ace, we put it above the piles in a row.

The Play: A Game of Strategy and Skill

Hey there! Ready to jump into the wonderful world of card games? Well, get excited because I’m about to introduce you to an absolute classic: The Play.

So, here’s the deal (pun intended): the top card of each pile is waiting for you to snap it up and play it on the foundations. But don’t rush! Remember, we’re all about strategy and skill here. Take your time to plan your moves.

One card at a time, you’ll move them from the layout piles to the foundation piles. And, here’s the secret sauce: you’ve got to build those foundations in ascending order, following suit. It’s like creating a stairway of cards, step by step. Can you picture it?

Winning: You’ve Got the Skills!

Now, here’s the exciting part: victory! You show off your card-playing prowess when all the cards have found their rightful place in the foundation piles. That’s how you win this game, my friend. It’s all about putting those cards where they belong.
