SQUIRRELS AND ACORNS

Welcome to Squirrels and Acorns, the ultimate blend of learning and fun! In this game, you get to be a “squirrel” and test your jumping skills while gathering acorns. It’s a race against time, and the more acorns you collect without making any mistakes, the better your chances of winning.

Let’s get this game started!

To start setting up this fun game, I need you to gather some “acorns.” These can be toys, treats, or anything that will keep you entertained. Place them in a pile. Then, set up the jump rope a few feet away. Each of you will choose a spot on the opposite side of the jump rope from the acorns. Once everything is ready, we can begin!

Now, let’s talk about how to play this exciting game. You and a friend will stand on opposite ends of the jump rope. It’s time for the first player to roll the dice. Once you roll, use your math skills to either add or multiply the numbers you see on the dice. This total will determine how many times you need to jump the jump rope before you can collect an acorn from the pile.

When you jump the jump rope the number of times you were told to, you can collect an acorn and keep it somewhere safe. But be careful! If you make a mistake when adding or multiplying, you won’t get an acorn. And if you miss a jump, you can’t collect an acorn either.

THE END OF THE GAME

Hey there! I’m Ellie, and I live in Northeast Tennessee. I’m a big fan of animals, fantasy books, and spending time outside. I’m lucky to have a fantastic husband and two adorable pets. I also feel incredibly grateful to be part of this amazing community.

Now, let’s talk about the end of the game! The game keeps going until all the acorns have been collected. When that happens, it’s time to count up the acorns. Each player will find out how many acorns they gathered. The player who collected the most acorns is the winner of the game! Isn’t that exciting?
