SPOOF

Let’s play Spoof, a thrilling game that combines bluffing and strategy. Get ready for some cunning moves and exciting twists! Here’s how it works:

SETUP

Setting up the game is a breeze. Each player gets a white board, answer sheets, a marker, and a bidding chip. Gather around the playing area with the trivia questions placed in the middle, facing down. Decide who goes first, and we’re all set to dive in!

GAMEPLAY

So, here’s how it works. First, we randomly choose who goes first. That person will be the reader. The reader grabs a trivia question card and reads it out loud to the group. Easy enough, right?

Now, each player gets a chance to answer. We all write down our answers on a sheet of paper and hand it over to the reader. Once everyone has submitted their answers, the reader writes them all down on a whiteboard, mixing them up.

Now comes the exciting part. The reader shows the whiteboard to everyone. This is when we all get to place our chips next to the answer we think is right. It’s like a little guessing game. The answer that gets the most chips is the winner! And guess what? The player who wrote that answer gets points equal to the number of chips they got.

But wait, there’s more. Even if your answer didn’t win, you can still earn a point if you got it right. So, keep track of your scores on your own sheet. It’s all about having fun and showing off your trivia skills!

So, here’s the deal. After everyone has recorded their scores, the next reader will be the player on the left. We’ll keep the game going like this until we reach a certain point or decide to call it quits.

THE END

The game will end either when we all decide or when there are no more trivia questions left to answer. We’ll add up the scores on the scoreboard, and the player with the highest score will take home the win!
