QUICK WITS

Quick Wit is a game made for people who think fast on their feet. All you have to do is stay on your toes and pay attention as cards are uncovered. The key is to be the first to spot a match and give the correct answer before your opponent does. If you get it right, you win the card. The goal is simple – collect more cards than anyone else and come out on top!

GETTING STARTED

Setting up the game is a breeze. Just have someone mix up the deck and put it in the middle of the playing area. This forms the Quick Wits pile. And just like that, you’re ready to begin!

HOW TO PLAY

So, here’s how the game goes. I’ll be the first one to show you a card from the deck. Make sure you’re paying attention because everyone needs to see it at the same time. After me, it’s your turn. Just reveal a card from the pile and place it in front of you, facing up. Remember, we’re going clockwise.

We’ll keep doing this until we find a match. When two players reveal cards with the same symbol, that’s a match! Now comes the fun part – you have to quickly come up with an example of the word on your opponent’s card. And hey, make sure your answer is correct! If you’re the first one to answer correctly, you get to keep your opponent’s card in your Score Pile.

All right, let’s dive into the world of matches! In this game, matches can happen between any players. We keep drawing cards and making matches. But remember, only the top card in your match pile counts as a match. Oh, and no repeating answers allowed! The game goes on until all the cards have been played. After that, we tally up the scores and see who has the most points – they’re the winner!

Link Cards

Now, here’s something interesting: Link Cards! When we draw a Link Card, we put it next to the Quick Wits pile. The symbols on the Link Card match, and that means we have a higher chance of making even more matches. Keep an eye out for those potential matches! Link Cards can be used by everyone playing the game, and they stay in effect until we draw the next Link Card.

Battle Cards

When you draw a Battle Card in the game, you need to place it beside your score pile. The real fun begins when another player draws a Battle Card too. It’s time for a battle! Here’s how it works: both players wager cards from their own score piles. You each make a guess on a card, and then someone flips a card from the Quick Wits pile. If your guess is correct, you get to keep all the cards that were wagered. Don’t worry, though, the card that was flipped gets returned to the Quick Wits pile for the next round.

Now let’s talk about Trivia Cards.

If you draw a Mystery Card, you have a special power. You get to ask the other players a random question of your choice. The catch is that the first player who answers correctly gets to keep the card. So, make sure you’re quick on your feet!

Last but not least, Charades Cards!

When you draw a Charades Card, get ready to show off your acting skills. You have to act something out, and the first person who correctly guesses what you’re trying to portray wins the card. It’s all about using your imagination and being a good detective!

Finally, the end of the game.

Once all the cards have been played, it’s time to tally up your score. Count all the cards in your score pile. The player with the most cards in their pile wins the game! So keep collecting those cards and aim for victory!
