Hey there! Have you ever heard of Monopoly the Card Game? It’s like a card version of the classic Monopoly board game! In this game, I get to draw cards from the bank pile or trade with other players to make my hand even better. I try to collect property sets, railroads, utilities, houses, and hotels to have the most valuable hand by the end of the round. And you know what? The player with the most money at the end of the game wins! How cool is that?
So, what exactly is in the box?

Did you know that the Monopoly card game has a deck of sixty cards? This deck is made up of different types of cards, including property cards, improvement cards, and bonus cards. There are twenty-eight property cards, seventeen improvement cards, and fifteen bonus cards in total. And you know what? There is even a special bank card that holds all the other cards, as well as the money!
How to Get Started with Monopoly the Card Game

Okay, here’s what you need to do. First, pick someone to be the banker. They’ll be in charge of the money, so make sure they set up the bank card and put the stack of monopoly money in the right place. Oh, and don’t forget to take a $500 bill and put it under the Free Parking jackpot space. The banker will hand out all the cash at the end of each round.
Next, it’s time to choose a dealer. This person will shuffle the deck of cards and then deal ten cards to each player. You have to keep your cards a secret, so don’t let anyone else see them! The dealer will also give each player two cards face up in front of them to start their trading pile. The rest of the cards go face down on the bank card to make the draw pile.
If you’re playing with just two people, you’ll need two extra trade piles. And if you have three players, you’ll only need one extra trade pile.
Now comes the fun part – THE PLAY:
When it’s my turn to play, I get to make the first move. I can either draw a card from the pile or trade with one of the other players. If I have a complete hand after drawing or trading, I can end the round.
If I choose to draw, I have to discard one card from my trading pile to end my turn. Trading is a bit different. If I decide to trade, I pick one player and give them one or two cards from my trade pile. They add those cards to their hand, and then I take the same number of cards from their trade pile and add them to mine. The player who gets the trade cards will have more than ten cards until their next turn, when they have to discard down to ten.
So here’s what you do: at the end of your turn, just make sure you have ten cards in your hand. Simple as that. And as you keep collecting more cards, stack them up so everyone can see. Don’t forget to keep the top card visible to everyone.
Now, the game keeps going around the table, clockwise, until someone finishes with a full hand. A complete hand has to have at least one set of Monopoly color groups. You can’t have any sets that are still unfinished. And if you want to have railroads in your hand, you need to have two, three, or four of them. Oh, and don’t forget, you have to have both utility cards to complete your hand. You can have one, two, three, or four houses in your hand, just not more than four. But guess what? If you happen to have exactly four houses, you can also have a hotel card. How cool is that?
When you get the Go to Jail card, you’re stuck in jail until you also have the Get Out of Jail Free card. Keep in mind that you can have as many bonus cards as you want. The wild cards can be used as any property, but you have to let everyone know which property they represent.
Scoring the Round
The banker will pay each player based on the value of their hand, starting with the person who went out. Each token card you have will earn you an extra $1,000. However, only the player who goes out will receive money for their improvement cards.
The role of the dealer will pass to the left after each round. A full game consists of four rounds.
Winning Monopoly: The Card Game
The player with the most money at the end of the fourth round wins the game. If you want a longer game, you can play until a certain amount of money is reached. The first person to reach that amount will be the winner.
