Caribbean Poker is a type of casino game that is designed for adults.
Let’s Get Started!
Caribbean Poker, also known as Caribbean Stud Poker, is a unique casino game where the dealer and the player go head-to-head. Unlike traditional poker games, you’re not playing against other players. Don’t let the name “Stud” confuse you – it’s not a stud poker game. In Caribbean Poker, you’ll be dealt a five-card hand upfront instead of betting between each card. This exciting game is typically played on a special Blackjack table in American Casinos.
How to Play
Before we start the game, we all have to put in a bet called an “ante.” It’s kind of like a ticket to play. If you want to go up against the dealer, you need to place another bet. But there’s a catch – only people with a hand that has an Ace and a King or better can play against the dealer.
Once everyone has placed their bets in the pot, the dealer gives each player five cards. These cards are facedown so that no one else can see them. The dealer also gives themselves five cards, but they reveal one card for everyone to see.
Now it’s time to look at your hand and see how good it is. Use the Poker Hand Rankings to compare your cards. If you think you have a shot at beating the dealer, you can choose to keep playing by doubling your ante. If not, you can fold and sit out the rest of the game.
When everyone has made their decision, the dealer shows their hand. That’s the end of the game.
If the dealer’s hand is not good enough to qualify, everyone gets paid out 1:1.
So here’s how it works: if the dealer qualifies and beats you, I’m sorry to say you lose both your ante and your bet.
But, on the other hand, if the dealer does qualify and loses to you, then you’ll be interested to know about the pay out table below.
