Here’s how it works: I’m gonna ask you some questions, and you gotta answer ’em right to move forward on the game board. You can play by yourself, or grab some friends and play as a team. Time to Set Things Up

Getting started with Bonkers is a piece of cake. It’s super quick and easy! Usually, everyone plays individually, but if you have more than four players, you can form teams. Once you have that figured out, each player or team picks a game piece and places it on the Start spot on the board. And that’s it! You’re ready to jump into the excitement.

Let the Bonkers Begin!

When we start playing the game, we need to pick someone to be the card reader. This person has the important job of reading the questions, keeping score, and making sure everything runs smoothly. As we play, we’ll take turns being the card reader, so everyone gets a chance.

Now, the player sitting to the left of the card reader gets a special role: they’re in the Hot Seat! They have thirty seconds to answer a question, so they better be ready.

The Hot Seat player will spin a spinner to find out which category their question will come from. Then, the card reader takes a card from the box that matches that category. But here’s where it gets interesting – the card reader gets to choose how hard each answer is! They’ll use these special scoring chips to show how difficult each answer is. The chips go on the bullseye circles for the answers.

Hey there! Let me walk you through a cool game. Here’s how it works: I’ll read out a question to the group, and as soon as I’m done, I’ll start the timer. Your job is to listen carefully and come up with as many correct answers as you can. If you give a correct answer, I’ll shout “bullseye!” and let everyone know which answer you matched.

Now, here’s the twist: the timer keeps going while you collect your chips. So you gotta think fast and stay on your toes!

Once the timer is up, the other players get one shot at an answer. If they give a bullseye answer, they get to collect the chips. But if their answer wasn’t guessed, I collect half of the remaining chips. Tough luck, right?

We’ll keep track of everyone’s points, and each player will move their game piece forward on the board. The number of spaces they can move will be equal to the points they won. So, the more bullseye answers you give, the further you’ll go!

Oh, and one more thing: the role of being the card reader will shift to the left after each round. This way, everyone gets a chance to read the questions and have a blast!
