Introducing Blank: The Game Where You Make the Rules
Hey there! Welcome to Blank, the ultimate game for your next family game night! I’m here to tell you all about it. Get ready for an unforgettable gaming experience where anything can happen!
Here’s the deal: in Blank, winning a game means you get to unleash your creativity and change the game forever. How cool is that? Once you come out victorious, you have the power to customize a gamecard or even create your very own rule card. It all depends on which cards are still blank when you win!
But of course, every game has its rules. There are three important rules that everyone must follow while playing Blank. And as the game goes on, discarded cards can introduce new effects that spice up your turn. So get ready to have a blast, let your imagination run wild, and enjoy every moment of Blank!
Setting Up the Game
Now, let’s talk about how to set up the game. It’s super easy, I promise! First, you’ll need to separate the Rule Cards from the rest of the cards. If you come across any blank cards, set them aside too. Next, give the deck of Rule Cards a good shuffle, and do the same with the remaining cards.
Once that’s done, each player will draw 7 cards from the deck, creating their own little hand of cards. Then, it’s time to choose three Rule Cards and place them where everyone can see them. These cards will be the guiding light throughout the game.
And that’s it! You’re all set to dive into the world of Blank. Let the games begin and let your inner game creator shine! Good luck and have a blast playing Blank!
Okay, listen up! Throughout the game, you gotta follow these rules or you’ll face some consequences, got it? First things first, flip over the top card from the deck and that’ll be the discard pile. Now we’re ready to roll!
How to Play
So, there’s no official rule for picking the first player. Just let the group decide amongst themselves. Once that’s settled, it’s time to check if you have a card in your hand that you can play. To make a valid play, your card needs to either match the number or color of the card on top of the discard pile. Remember, if you have a valid card, you’ve gotta play it!
If you have multiple cards that share the same color or number, you can play them all at once. No mixing and matching, though! Now, here’s the twist: when you play a card with an effect, like a special power, the effect takes place immediately. And guess what? You can even play two cards together, hiding the effect under the top card.
If you forget a rule, can’t finish an action, or don’t have a card to play, you’ll have to draw a card from the deck as a penalty. Just remember, if you have a card that you can play, you must play it. The player who gets rid of all their cards first wins the game! And that player gets to create a new rule using a blank Rule Card or make a game card instead!
GAME OVER
The game is over when a player has no cards left in their hand. That player is the winner and now has the opportunity to design a custom game card that will change the game forever!
