AGE OF PRIMES

Hey there! So, after floating through space for hundreds of years, the crew of the colony ship, Dorchester, has finally touched down on a mysterious alien planet. Talk about an adventure! But here’s the twist: the pioneers have divided themselves into four factions, each with their own unique society led by influential folks. It’s like stepping into a whole new world! So, welcome to Age of Primes, a captivating card game that merges thrilling sci-fi with an immersive story.

GETTING STARTED

Ready to dive in? Great! Let’s get you set up. Here’s the lowdown: you’ll need to dig into your deck and pick out a Prime card to represent you throughout the game. This is your persona, your in-game identity. Cool, huh? Once you’ve chosen your Prime, place it face down in front of you. Got it? Good.

Now, mix up the rest of your cards and give ’em a good shuffle. Make it count! Once your deck is nicely randomized, draw yourself five cards. These will be your starting hand, your first set of tools in this epic journey. Exciting, right?

When we play this game, we start by randomly choosing the first player. Then, all of us reveal our Personas at the same time, and that’s when the fun begins!

PLAYING THE GAME

The game is split into turns, which have three phases: the start phase, the middle phase, and the end phase. Each turn, the active player rotates in clockwise order.

At the start of each turn, there are three important things that the active player must do. First, they trigger any abilities that activate at the beginning of a turn. Then, they refresh their Primes and Followers. Finally, they draw a card from their deck. And just like that, the start phase is complete!

When I’m playing, my turn has three different phases. First, there’s the middle phase. This is when I can do something cool like play a card, activate a special power, or challenge another player to a duel. I get to decide the order of these actions, and I can do as many as I want. Once I’m done, I move on to the final phase.

The final phase is all about wrapping things up. I use any abilities that need to be used at the end of my turn. Then, I get rid of any extra cards in my hand. Can’t have more than seven! Finally, I heal my Followers by removing any damage they’ve taken.

After that, it’s time for the next player to take their turn. We go around the board clockwise until the game ends. Who knows how many turns it will take before it’s all over?

THE END

Hey there! I’m Ellie, and I live in Northeast Tennessee. I’m a big fan of animals, especially furry ones, exciting fantasy stories, and spending time outdoors. I have an amazing husband who loves me just as much as our two adorable fur babies. Being a part of this incredible community brings me so much joy!

So, let’s talk about this game I’ve been playing. It’s super fun, and it’s all about reaching 25 Prestige points. Once a player hits that mark, the game ends, and they’re declared the big winner. If you want, you can tally up the points to double-check. But, generally, the player with the highest Prestige is the champ!
