Welcome to the Reykholt Glossary Lexicon
Supply – There is an endless supply of goods in general. If a specific type of goods runs out, you can use the goods tiles as a temporary replacement. (Each goods tile represents 3 goods).
Stock – Your personal stock consists of all the goods that you have acquired or harvested. You can only use goods from your stock to pay for costs.
Seed – Each greenhouse is divided into multiple sections called parcels. To plant seeds, choose 1 good from your stock and place it in an empty parcel of a greenhouse you own.
The entire greenhouse needs to be empty, not just one parcel. Each greenhouse specifies which vegetables can be planted there. Once you have planted seeds in a greenhouse, fill all the remaining empty parcels with goods of the same type, taken from the supply.
So, here’s the deal: every action space has a specific number of times you can seed, but there’s a catch. Sometimes, you’ll see a phrase that says “Seed at least X times.”
This special action is a bit different. You can seed as many times as you want, as long as you have enough goods and empty greenhouses. But here’s the catch: you have to seed at least the minimum number of times stated. If you don’t, you can’t choose that action.
Let me give you an example. Imagine the phrase says “Seed at least 2 times.” You can actually seed 3, 4, or even more times if you have enough goods and empty greenhouses. But at the very least, you gotta seed twice if you want to go for this action.
Now, let’s talk about harvesting. When you harvest, you take one good from one of your greenhouses and put it in your stock. If an action allows you to harvest multiple times, you gotta take goods from different greenhouses.
When it comes to harvesting from a greenhouse, you can only collect 1 good per action, unless stated otherwise. But remember, you can always choose to harvest fewer times than you’re allowed.
Getting a Service Card – To get a service card, simply pick one of the cards from the available options and put it in front of you. If you pick one of the last 3 service cards in the display, you also get the topmost good from the nearby stack (tomato, lettuce, or mushroom), and add it to your stock.
Example: There’s only 3 cards left in the display that show the services you can choose from. Once you pick a card and put it in front of yourself, you also grab the topmost good card from the stack – in this case, a tomato.
Move Ahead Right Away – To move ahead right away, you move your manager 1 table further along the tourism track without having to spend any goods like you usually would.
