Zombie Kidz Game Rules
Hey there! So you’re interested in learning how to play Zombie Kidz, huh? Well, you’ve come to the right place. I’m here to break it down for you in simple and easy-to-understand terms.
First things first, let’s talk about the goal of the game – to protect your school from being overrun by zombies! Pretty cool, right? The game is all about teamwork, so you and your friends will be working together to defend your school.
Now, let’s talk about how the game works. Each player will take turns rolling the dice, which will determine where the zombies appear. Your job is to use your character’s special abilities to fend off those zombies and secure the four corners of the school.
But wait, there’s a catch! The zombies are always on the move, so you’ll need to strategize and work together to outsmart them. Communication is key in this game – make sure to let your teammates know where the zombies are headed so you can plan your moves accordingly.
As you progress through the game, you’ll have the chance to unlock special power cards that will give you an edge against those pesky zombies. These cards can be a game-changer, so use them wisely!
So, to sum it all up – work together with your friends, roll the dice, strategize, and protect your school from the zombie invasion. Do you think you’re up for the challenge? I have no doubt that you and your team will be able to save the day!
Good luck, and may the zombie-fighting odds be ever in your favor!
Yesterday, I spotted a group of peculiar creatures infiltrating the cemetery near my house. Unfortunately, none of the grown-ups believed my story! That’s when I decided to take matters into my own hands. I gathered my closest pals to wage war against those terrifying zombies!
What’s Inside the Box?
When you open the box, you will find several components that make up the game. These components include:
- A double-sided game board
- Four player pawns, along with their supports
- Eight zombie tokens
- Four lock tokens
- A single die
- A rulebook to guide you through the game
The Goal of the Game
In this game, we all work together as a team to prevent the zombies from taking over the cemetery. There are two ways we can achieve this goal:
- By placing a lock on each of the four gates, or
- By eliminating all the zombies from the cemetery.
Getting Set Up
To set up the game, start by placing all the zombie tokens in a reserve area next to the game board.
Now let me explain how to set up the board. You have two options: you can either place it on the 2-player side, which has 4 diagonal paths, or on the 3-4 player side. It’s up to you to decide which one you prefer.
Listen up! The board I’m talking about here is divided into nine zones. You got five tombs and four gates, all laid out for you to explore.
When it comes to setting up, it’s simple. You choose your player pawn and put it on the red tomb smack in the middle of the board. Any extra pawns you got, toss them back in the box where they belong.
Hey there! Let me show you what you need to do in this game.
First things first, I’m going to tell you where to put the zombies. You need to place 1 zombie on each gate in the corners of the game board.
Feeling like the game is a piece of cake? Then, go ahead and spice things up! Just put one zombie back in the box and play with only 7 zombies in the reserve.
Now, here’s the deal: the player who is the bravest, or shall I say the least afraid of zombies, gets to kick off the round.
Game Play
When it’s your turn, you get to take your move in clockwise order.
1. Creating Zombies in the Cemetery
First things first, you have to add a new zombie to the cemetery. It’s mandatory!
Roll the die and place a zombie token on a tomb that matches the color you rolled. If you roll white, you’re lucky and don’t have to add a zombie this turn!
You can add as many zombies as you like to a tomb. There’s no limit.
But be careful: If you must place a zombie but there are none left in the reserve, the game ends! Everyone loses!
If there are 3 or more zombies in a space where a player’s pawn or another player’s pawn is located, you all lose the game!
If a tomb has 3 or more zombies, you can’t win by eliminating all the zombies. Now, you have to lock all the gates (see below).
2. Moving (optional)
Hey there! Let me break it down for you. When you play the game, you can move one space at a time. Imagine a game board with different paths. You can move along those paths, but you have to follow some rules. For instance, if you’re playing with three or four people, you can only move in straight lines or side to side. Diagonal moves are off-limits.
Now, let’s talk about the tombs. Some of these paths might lead to tombs, but be careful! If there are three or more zombies in a tomb, you can’t go in. It’s definitely not a good place to be. Stay away from those tombs and focus on finding a route that’s zombie-free.
If there are 1 or 2 zombies on the space where my pawn is located, I can eliminate them and send them back to the reserve.
If I manage to eliminate the last zombie in the cemetery, it’s a victory for all of us!
Remember, I don’t have to move my pawn to eliminate zombies.
If both my pawn and another player’s pawn are on the same gate, we can lock it by placing a lock token on it. If we manage to lock all 4 gates, it’s a win for everyone!
But be cautious! After I eliminate zombies or lock a gate, I won’t be able to move anymore. If I want to move, I have to do it before taking those actions.
Now it’s the next player’s turn
The player on my left will now begin their turn.
End of the Game
We all win if:
- All 4 gates are locked
- At any point during the game, there are no zombies left in the cemetery
We all lose if:
Gather around, kids, and let me tell you a spooky tale about zombies. You see, sometimes you have to make tough choices when it comes to dealing with these undead creatures. There are a few things to keep in mind when deciding what to do.
Firstly, you have to consider where to put the zombies. Believe it or not, there’s a special place for them called the cemetery. When you want to remove a zombie from the game, you need to put it in the cemetery. But here’s the catch – you can only do this if there are no more zombies left in the reserve. It’s like a jigsaw puzzle, trying to find the right spot for each piece.
Secondly, there’s a rule that can help you out. If you find a player pawn in a space with three or more zombies, it’s time to take some action. When this happens, you can say “zombie attack!” and deal with the situation accordingly. It’s like a scene from a scary movie, where the heroes have to fight off the hordes of undead.
Now, let me break it down for you in simple terms. There are two scenarios when you have to act. Number one, if there are no more zombies in the reserve, you can put one in the cemetery. And number two, if a player pawn is sharing a space with three or more zombies, it’s time for a zombie attack!
So, my little adventurers, remember these rules when you’re playing this game. Put the zombies in the cemetery if there are none left in the reserve, and watch out for those zombie attacks when the player pawn is outnumbered. Stay brave, stay smart, and have fun!
