When you’re playing the Zeus figurine in the game, make sure to grab and hold onto it whenever you play a card that meets one of these conditions:

Drawing Back up to Four Cards

Remember, after every turn, you need to draw enough cards to have a total of four in your hand. If you forget, you’ll have to play the next round with fewer cards.

For example, if you only have three cards when it’s the next player’s turn, you have to continue playing with three cards instead of the usual four. And if you forget to draw again after that, you’ll be left with only two cards in your hand, so watch out!

Ending A Round

There are four ways a round can end:

• If I play a card that brings the total value of Mount Olympus to exactly 100 on my turn, I get to steal Zeus and win the round.
• If I play a card with a number that matches exactly or goes over 100, I get to steal Zeus and win the round.

If you can only play a card that brings Mount Olympus to a total higher than 100, the person who already has Zeus wins the round. And if the draw pile runs out, the person with Zeus wins, even if Mount Olympus doesn’t reach 100. When you win a round, you get the first letter of Zeus. Keep track of scores on a piece of paper if that helps. Then, as the winner, collect all the cards, shuffle, and deal a new round. The player on the left of the dealer starts the next round.

Continue playing rounds until someone spells out Zeus. That’s how you win the game.

For younger players, we’ll take away the “Same Number Sneak” rule and won’t enforce a penalty for not drawing back up to four cards.
