In this game, the goal is to be the first to collect 10 cards. You can collect cards by answering questions correctly. It’s a test of your knowledge and quick thinking!
About the Categories:
There are four categories to choose from: Brain Bending Conundrums, IQ Squares, Picture Problems, and Word Mixers. Each category offers a unique challenge!
Most categories have a question on one side of the card and the answer on the other. However, IQ Squares have questions and answers on both sides, giving you even more to test your skills.
Getting Started:
First, take all the cards out of their boxes. Then, place the cards in four piles in the center of the table, making sure the question side is facing up. For the IQ Squares cards, it doesn’t matter which side is facing up. Set them aside for now.
Once the cards are ready, you’re all set to begin! There’s a time limit of 4 minutes to answer each question, but you can adjust this if you want a faster or slower pace. Just make sure everyone agrees on the time limit before you start the game.
Are you ready to put your knowledge to the test? Let’s get started and see who will be the champion!

How to Play the Game
Let’s get started on this exciting IQ challenge! The person or team with the highest IQ gets to go first, and this lucky individual will be known as Player 1. Now, Player 1 has the honor of giving the spinner a flick to determine their fate!
The spinner has five options: Geography, Science, Language, Math, and Your Choice. Each of these categories is loaded with intriguing questions that will put your brain to the test.
If the spinner lands on one of the four specific categories, Player 1’s task is to pick the top card from the corresponding pile. The chosen card will showcase a mind-boggling question that must be deciphered. Do your best to provide the correct answer and show off your intelligence!
But wait, there’s more! If the spinner happens to land on the elusive “Your Choice,” Player 1 has the power to select any category they desire. It’s a thrilling wild card that keeps the game unpredictable.
Now that you know how the game works, it’s time to put your thinking caps on and prepare for an exhilarating IQ challenge! Are you ready to take on this brain-teasing adventure? Let’s find out!
When I’m trying to solve a question, it’s important that everyone else is also working on it. Why? Because if I can’t figure it out, someone else might be able to steal the card.
I need to check my answer. If I get it right, the card is mine. But if I get it wrong, the next person at the table gets a chance to answer.
They only have 15 seconds to guess, though, not a whole 4 minutes. If they get it right, they take the card. If nobody gets it right, the card goes back to the bottom of the pile.
No matter what, we keep going around the table in a clockwise direction. The person to my left gets to spin the spinner next.
Making Math Fun!
Hey there! Have you ever thought that math could actually be fun? Well, let me tell you, it can be! Today, I’m going to share with you a game called “Math Memory” that will not only help you practice your math skills but also have a blast while doing it. So, get ready to dive into the world of numbers and let the games begin!
How to Play:
Math Memory is a simple game that requires a deck of math cards. Each card has a math problem on one side and the answer on the other side. To get started, shuffle the deck and lay all the cards face down on the table. Now, it’s time to flip over some cards and put your memory to the test!
On your turn, flip over two cards. If the math problem and its answer match, you get to keep the cards and take another turn. However, if the cards don’t match, you have to flip them back over and it’s the next player’s turn. The goal is to collect as many matching pairs as you can.
But here’s the twist – before you can keep a matching pair, you have to solve the math problem correctly! So, not only will you be testing your memory, but also your math skills. It’s a fun way to challenge yourself and improve your mental math abilities.
Strategies to Win:
Now, let’s talk about some strategies that can help you win the game. When you flip over a card, try to remember where its matching card is. This will help you make better choices as you continue flipping cards. Also, don’t rush! Take your time to think through the math problems and double-check your answers before claiming a pair.
Another tip is to focus on easier math problems first. By finding and solving simpler problems, you can quickly collect pairs and gain momentum. And remember, practice makes perfect! The more you play, the better you’ll get at remembering card placements and solving math problems in no time.
The Benefits:
Playing Math Memory not only makes math fun but also offers several benefits. First and foremost, it helps you improve your memory skills as you try to remember the placement of different cards. It’s like exercising your brain!
In addition, Math Memory enhances your math abilities by challenging you to solve problems quickly and accurately. This can boost your mental math skills, making complex calculations easier to handle.
Moreover, playing this game with friends or family promotes social interaction and healthy competition. It’s a great way to bond with others while sharpening your math skills.
So, what are you waiting for? Grab a deck of math cards and start playing Math Memory today. You’ll have so much fun, you won’t even realize you’re learning!
Helpful Hint:
Some questions are hard to visualize. You may want to keep some scrap paper and pencils handy – this is allowed. However, calculators and the internet are not allowed. That would be cheating!
End of the Game
The first person (or team) to collect 10 cards wins the game.
