Welcome to the Magic Labyrinth Game!
Have you ever played the Magic Labyrinth? It’s a fun and exciting game that will challenge your memory and problem-solving skills. In this guide, I’ll explain to you the rules of the game so that you can start playing right away. Let’s get started!
Setting Up the Game
The Magic Labyrinth game board is made up of several tiles. The tiles are placed face down, and players take turns placing their pawns on the board. Each player will have their own colored pawn.
The Objective
The goal of the game is to be the first player to find all of your magical objects in the labyrinth and return to your starting position. Sounds easy, right? Well, there’s a catch!
The Magic Board and the Walls
The Magic Labyrinth board is filled with hidden walls that you can’t see. These walls block your path and make it tricky to navigate the labyrinth. But don’t worry, you can use your magical powers to uncover the walls and find your way.
Using the Magic Wand
Each player starts with a magic wand. The wand is your key to revealing the hidden walls. When it’s your turn, you can use your wand to feel the walls around you. If you encounter a wall, you’ll know it’s there, and you can choose a different path.
Collecting Magical Objects
As you navigate the labyrinth, you’ll come across magical objects. These objects are hidden on certain tiles. When you land on a tile with a magical object, you’ve found one of your treasures! Collect as many objects as you can to get closer to winning the game.
Be Careful!
Remember, the labyrinth is full of hidden walls and traps. If you bump into a wall during your turn, you’ll be transported back to your starting position. So be careful and try to navigate the labyrinth with precision.
Winning the Game
The first player to collect all of their magical objects and return to their starting position wins the game! Use your memory and problem-solving skills to overcome the challenges and be the champion of the Magic Labyrinth.
Now It’s Your Turn
Now that you know the rules of the Magic Labyrinth game, it’s time to start playing! Gather your friends or family, set up the game board, and let the magic begin. Have fun and may the best player win!

Ouch! Wow, I can’t believe my eyes! Did I just run into a wall or something?
I’m one of the magician’s apprentices, and today we have a really important mission – finding the magic symbols in this incredible labyrinth!
But let me tell you, it’s not as easy as it sounds. Those sneaky magicians like to mess with us by closing off paths and revealing hidden tunnels. It’s like magic, I tell you!
Our goal is to navigate the labyrinth and collect 5 symbols with our game piece. Whoever does it first is the winner!
What you’ll need

- A playing field with different layers: an underground labyrinth and a floor plate
- Wooden wall parts: 24 in total
- Magical symbol chips: 24 in total
- A cloth bag to hold the symbols
- A dice with numbers 1, 2, 2, 3, 3, and 4
- Four magicians in red, blue, yellow, and green
- Four metal balls
- Instructions to guide you
What to Do Before Starting the Game
First, put the magic symbols inside the black cloth bag. 1 Then, carefully remove the other parts from the underground labyrinth. 2 You won’t need them for the game.
Getting Started
First, let’s set up the game. Put the underground labyrinth in the middle of the table and place the box on top of it. Now, it’s time to add the walls. Use the wall parts to create the maze inside the labyrinth. You can choose between two variants: easy (which has 19 walls) and a little harder (which has 24 walls). You can refer to illustration A for the easy variant or illustration B for the slightly harder one to see how the walls should be arranged.
Hey there, let’s dive into this exciting game and get started! Don’t forget, each field must have at least one entry and any surplus wall parts are put aside.
Once we’ve completed constructing the labyrinth, it’s time to place the floor plate on top of it. We’ll also need to keep the symbol chips in the cloth bag by the playing field.
Now comes the thrilling part! We randomly draw a chip from the bag and place it openly next to the playing field for everyone to see. To add some extra excitement, we’ll rotate the box multiple times and shout, “Labyrinth, turn around, walls disappear, ways will be found!” It’s like magic!
Time to Place the Tokens
Each of us will choose a magician and grab a cool metal ball. We’ll start the game at our respective corners of the labyrinth, with each player in a different corner. In case we’re just two players, we’ll go for opposite corners.
Alright, let’s place our magicians on the start field in our corners. Carefully slide the ball against it from below until it’s held in place by the magnet. And there we go – we’re all set to kick off this labyrinth adventure! Good luck!
Playing the Game
Now, let’s talk about how to play the game. It’s really simple, and I’ll explain everything to you. First, we take turns playing. The player who lost last starts the game. The goal is to be the first one to reach the playing field with the symbol chip on it.
When it’s your turn to play, here’s what you do. Roll the die once to see how many spaces you can move. You can move your magician in any direction – up, down, left, or right – as long as you follow the number of points you rolled. You can even go fewer spaces if you want to skip some steps. Just remember, you can only move horizontally or vertically, not diagonally.
Now, here’s an important rule to keep in mind. You have to move your magician quickly. You can’t stop and think about whether a wall might appear. Be smart and plan your moves ahead of time to avoid any obstacles. Oh, and one more thing – if you pass by other magicians, that’s okay. Just remember, there can only be one magician on a space at a time.
Unseen Barriers
If I hit a barrier, my ball will fall and end up in one of the four corners. I won’t be able to take any more steps. I have to remove the ball and put my magician and the metal ball back in the corner where I started.
Tip: If I want to remove the ball from the corner, I can place my magician on the side and slowly lift the ball up. Then it will be the next player’s turn.
Magic Symbols
When I reach the magic symbol that I’m looking for on the playing field, I can take the symbol chip. I won’t be able to take any more steps. Then I have to draw a new symbol chip from the bag and place it face-up.
If another player is already on the symbol that I want, they get the symbol chip and a new one is drawn for me.
Game Over: The Quest for Magic Symbols
Hey, guess what? The game is done as soon as you, my dear player, manage to gather 5 of those precious magic symbols. That’s your ticket to victory!
