But if I already have all four of those spaces covered with my own chips, then I have no luck on my side. My turn ends, and I have to pass the dice to the next player. I have to make sure I cover as many spaces as I can before that happens!

Roll a 10

When you roll a 10 in this game, which we call a defensive roll, you have the power to remove one of your opponent’s chips from the board. But remember, you can only remove a chip from spaces that are numbered 2 or 12.

This defensive move ends your turn. However, if you roll a 10 and there are no opponent chips to remove, your turn is automatically over.

Roll an 11

Now let’s talk about rolling an 11, also known as a wild roll. When you roll an 11, you can place one of your chips on any empty space on the board. However, if the board is already full, you have a special power. You can remove one of your opponent’s chips and replace it with your own. This move also signifies the end of your turn.

Roll a 12

If you roll a 2 or a 12, which corresponds to one of the corner or middle “dice” spaces on the board, you get to place one of your chips on the board like you normally would.
