Pigasus Game Rules
Hey there! Are you ready to learn how to play the exciting game of Pigasus? I’m here to guide you through the rules!
Objective of the Game
In Pigasus, the goal is to be the first player to reach 100 points. But be careful, it’s not as easy as it sounds!
Gameplay
To play Pigasus, you’ll need a standard six-sided die and a pen or pencil to keep score.
At the beginning of your turn, you’ll roll the die. The number you roll determines how many points you can potentially earn during that turn.
If you roll a 1, your turn is over and you lose all the points you earned during that turn. Bummer!
If you roll any other number, you can choose to either roll again or end your turn and add the points you earned to your total score. It’s up to you to decide!
The tricky part is that if you choose to roll again and roll a 1, you lose all the points you earned in that turn. So, choose wisely!
Your total score will be the sum of all the points you earn from each turn.
Special Rule: Pigasus!
Ah, the legendary Pigasus! If you roll a 6 three times in a row, something magical happens. You instantly earn 20 extra points! But beware, if you roll a 1 before completing the Pigasus, you lose the magic and the extra points. So, it’s a high-risk, high-reward situation!
Conclusion
Now that you know the rules of Pigasus, it’s time to gather your friends and start playing! Remember, the objective is to reach 100 points before anyone else, but watch out for those pesky ones. May the luck be with you, and may you master the art of Pigasus!
Alright, let’s get this game started! First, you and I each grab two cards from our Pig Piles and take a look at them.
If you happen to have a pair of cards in your hand, you should immediately shout out “Pigasus!” and slam your hand down in the center of the playing area.
But if neither of us starts with a pair, we’ll say “1-2-3 pass” together and pass one card from our hands to the player on our left. Make sure to keep the card you receive in your hand.
Now, let’s say “1-2-3 draw” together and grab the top card from our Pig Piles. We’ll keep going like this, saying “1-2-3 pass, 1-2-3 draw, 1-2-3 pass,” and so on. If you ever end up with a pair, don’t forget to shout “Pigasus!” and slam your hand down.
Calling Out “Pigasus!”
When someone slaps the table, all the other players scramble to slam their hands on top of theirs. The unlucky player who ends up with their hand on top is given the first letter of the word “Pigasus”.
And that’s the end of the round. Each time a player loses a round, they get another letter of “Pigasus”. For example, if they lose four rounds, they would have P-I-G-A.
Remember: It’s helpful to keep track of each player’s letters with a pencil and paper.
If multiple players happen to have a matching pair at the same time, they all shout, “Pigasus!” and slap down their hands.
Everyone races to slap the hand of the player who called out “Pigasus!” and slapped down. And guess what? The last hand to make contact gets another letter of “Pigasus” and the round ends.
End of the Round
Once each round is over, we all take the cards from our hands and put them together in a big pile outside of where we’re playing. We call this pile the “Pig Pen”.
The cards in the Pig Pen don’t get used anymore. So, we draw two new cards from the top of our own pile and start a new round.
Pig out
When someone uses up all the cards in their own pile, we call it a “Pig Out”. They have to shout “Pig Out” and the round is over right away. Nobody else can draw or pass or shout “Pigasus!”
All the cards that are left in our hands, all the piles, and all the cards in the Pig Pen are collected, mixed up, and then dealt out again for a new round.
End of the Game
If a player loses seven rounds, they’ve spelled “Pigasus”. That means they’re out of the game.
All the cards in their hand and their pile go in the Pig Pen. The rest of us keep playing.
When you play the game “Pigasus,” the goal is to be the last player standing who hasn’t spelled out the word “Pigasus.”
Taking Things to the Next Level
Now, if you really want to go all out and become a true game hog, here are some additional rules:
Bluff and Challenge Rule
With the Bluff and Challenge Rule, you can shout “Pigasus!” even if you don’t actually have two matching pig puns. It’s a way to keep your opponents on their toes!
If you shout “Pigasus!” and someone doubts your claim, they have the option to challenge you. Once a challenge is made, you must reveal your cards to prove if you were telling the truth or not.
If it turns out that you did have a pair of matching pig puns, the challenger receives an extra letter. However, if you were bluffing and had no matching pair, then you receive the extra letter instead.
New Sign Rule
When you use the New Sign Rule, you don’t have to slap your hands in the middle of the table if you have a pair of pig puns. Instead, I get to decide the sign we’ll use to declare a match.
Once I’ve dealt the cards, I’ll let everyone know what they have to do when they have a match. It could be jumping up and down, winking, scratching their heads, or anything else creative!
Just like always, the last player to make the sign gets a letter of the word “Pigasus”. Don’t worry, each time we play, there will be a new dealer so everyone gets a chance to come up with a cool sign.

Oink: A Fun and Noisy Game
Hey there! Let me tell you about this awesome game called Oink. It’s a super fun and noisy game that you can play with 2 or more players. Trust me, you’re gonna love it!
How to Win
The goal of the game is to collect all of the cards. Yep, that’s right! The player who has all the cards at the end is the big winner.
Setting Up
Getting ready to play Oink is just like setting up for Pigasus. So go ahead and get everything ready, and we’ll jump right into the action!
Let the Game Begin
Alright, now it’s time to start playing! The player sitting on the left side of the dealer gets to go first. They take a card from the top of their pile and put it face-up next to their pile. Easy peasy, right?
Next, the player on their left does the same thing, and then the player after that, and so on, until every player in the circle has turned over a card. Keep going, and turn up more cards into your face-up pile.
Oh, and here’s a neat trick: if you run out of face-down cards, you can just flip your face-up pile over and keep playing. No need to worry, you can keep the fun going!
Get Ready to Oink
Now, let’s talk about the most exciting part of the game: oinking! That’s right, you heard me correctly. Every time a player turns over a card, they have to make an oinking sound. Trust me, it’s hilarious!
So, get those cards out, start turning them over, and don’t forget to oink with all your might. The sillier the oinks, the more fun you’ll have!
When I see that the top card of any two piles matches, I shout “Oink!” If I’m the first to “Oink!”, I get to take those matching piles and add them to the bottom of my face-up pile. Then it’s the next player’s turn to turn over a card.
The Pig Pen
If two players “Oink!” at the same time, the matching piles are put in the middle and become the “Pig Pen”.
If I turn up a card that matches the top card of the Pig Pen, I can shout “Pig Pen!” and take the entire Pig Pen pile. I add it to the bottom of my face-up pile, and then play continues to the left.
The Piggy Penalty
If I’ve called “Oink!” or “Pig Pen!” incorrectly, I have to pay the “Piggy Penalty”. This means I have to give one card from my face-down pile to each player. And here’s the catch – nobody can look at the cards they get. It’s a surprise!
It’s the End of the Game
When you finally gather all the cards, that’s when you become the winner. It feels amazing to accomplish that!
Time for Some Variations
Let’s spice things up with a game called “Speedy Oinker”. This time, everyone flips their cards simultaneously instead of taking turns. It’s a fast-paced and exciting twist!

III. Run Piggy Run
Get ready for a quick-paced game that’s perfect for 3 or more players!
The Goal
Your mission: Don’t be the “Piggy”!
Setting Up
- Each player needs to choose a set of five matching cards. Keep the rest of the cards aside for now.
- Create a deck with one set of cards for each player. For example, if there are 5 players, you’ll need a deck with 5 sets, totaling 25 cards.
- Designate a dealer. This person should shuffle the deck thoroughly and deal five cards, face-down, to each player. Every player should look at their cards without showing them to others.
How to Play
Your goal is to collect all five cards in your hand to be the same. However, there’s a twist! Each player must trade one of their cards with a card from their hand. Everyone places their chosen card face-down on the table and, together, chants “1, 2, 3, Run Piggy Run!”
So, here’s how it goes: when I hear the word “Run” for the second time, I slide the card to the player on my right and pick up the card that was just slid to me from the player on the left. It’s like passing the baton in a race. We keep doing this until one of us has five cards that match in their hand.
Once a player has five matching cards, the game is over. This is when things get interesting. The player who won places their cards face-down on the table and puts their finger on their nose. The rest of us quickly follow suit. But here’s the catch – the last player to put their cards down has to take a letter of the word “Piggy”.
And then we carry on playing, trying to avoid being the one who gets stuck with all the letters of “Piggy”. Trust me, you don’t want to be that person. The game continues until someone finally ends up with all five letters of “Piggy”. And when that happens, they become the “Piggy” and have to do something silly.
That’s a wrap!
When a player becomes the “Piggy” by collecting all five letters, they have to run around the table once, while doing their best pig impression – oinking all the way. It’s hilarious to watch, and everyone has a good laugh.
