Monopoly Junior Game Rules
Hey there! Are you ready to dive into the world of Monopoly Junior? If so, you’re in the right place. I’m here to walk you through the game rules step by step, so you can become a Monopoly master!
First things first, let’s talk about the game setup. Are you excited? I know I am! To start, each player chooses a token they want to play with. It could be a cool car, a cute dog, or even a shiny boat. The choice is yours!
Once you’ve picked your token, it’s time to set up the game board. Place all of the Chance cards facedown in one pile, and do the same with the Community Chest cards. Shuffle the deed cards and place them in a neat stack. Finally, put all of the Property signs, Tickets booths, and labeled money in easy reach of all players.
Now that we’re all set up, let’s get into the juicy part: playing the game! The youngest player goes first (don’t worry, everyone gets a turn), and from there, we take turns clockwise. On your turn, roll the dice – that’s right, just like in real life! Move your token along the game board according to the number you rolled.
As you make your way around the board, you’ll come across different spaces. Some spaces are properties, which you can buy if you have enough money. If you land on a property you don’t own, you have to pay the owner rent. But if you own a property, other players have to pay you rent. Cha-ching!
Now, let’s talk about those Chance and Community Chest cards I mentioned earlier. If you land on one of these spaces, you get to draw a card and follow the instructions. They can be pretty exciting, so get ready for some surprises!
But wait, there’s more! Monopoly Junior has a special feature called Ticket Booths. If you own all the properties of the same color, you can build a Ticket Booth on one of them. And guess what? Whenever a player lands on your property with a Ticket Booth, they have to pay you double the rent. Talk about a good investment!
The game continues like this until one player runs out of money. At that point, the game is over, and we count up our money. The player with the most money wins! Congratulations if that’s you – you’re a Monopoly Junior champion!
So there you have it – the Monopoly Junior game rules explained in a way that’s easy to understand. Now it’s time to gather your friends or family, grab your tokens, and start playing. I guarantee you’ll have a blast!

So here’s the deal: I want to help you win at this game. And how do you win? By having more money than anyone else when they’re broke. Easy, right? Well, maybe not so easy, but I’ve got a few tips up my sleeve to give you a fighting chance.
First things first, you need to be smart about where you invest your money. Don’t just buy any old property you land on. Take a good look at what’s available and consider which ones will give you the best return on your investment. Some properties are more valuable than others, so choose wisely.
But it’s not just about buying properties. You also need to make sure you’re collecting rent from your opponents. Every time they land on one of your properties, cha-ching! Money in the bank. And that’s what it’s all about, right? Money, money, money.
Now, here’s where things start to get interesting. You see, there’s this thing called “Chance cards.” And let me tell you, they can be your best friend or your worst enemy. Some cards will give you a nice little bonus, like a cash prize or a free property. Others, well, let’s just say they’re not so kind. They might make you pay a fee or even send you straight to jail. So you’ve got to use these cards wisely and think about the potential risks and rewards.
Oh, and speaking of risks and rewards, there’s this thing called “rent.” Yeah, remember I mentioned that earlier? Well, here’s the deal. When someone lands on your property, they have to pay you rent. And boy, can that rent add up fast. So make sure you’ve got some prime real estate in your portfolio, and watch the money pile up.
And finally, let’s talk about bankruptcy. No one wants to go bankrupt, right? Well, except maybe your opponents. If they run out of cash and can’t pay you what they owe, they’re out of the game. And you, my friend, well, you’ve won.
So there you have it. A few tips to help you dominate this game and come out on top. Just remember: buy smart, collect rent, play those Chance cards wisely, and keep an eye out for bankruptcy. Now go out there and show ’em who’s boss!

Object of the Game
Let’s go around the board, buy every property we land on, collect money, and pick up Chance cards. When one of us runs out of money, the rest of us count our cash.
The player with the most money is the winner!
Setup

- First, let’s open the gameboard and place it in the middle where everyone can reach it.
- Next, grab the Chance cards and set aside the 4 token character cards. We won’t be using these in the game, but they’re fun to read and choose from! The 4 token character cards are:

Here’s what you need to do to play Monopoly Junior:
- Put your token on the GO space!
- Look for the 12 sold signs that match your token and keep them in front of you.
- Take the 20 Chance cards and place them facedown on the Chance space on the board.
- Choose someone to be the Banker. The Banker will handle the money. Now it’s time to distribute the cash:
- If there are 2 players: Give each player M20.
- If there are 3 players: Give each player M18.
- If there are 4 players: Give each player M16.

How to Play Monopoly Junior
- Hey there! I’m all set to have a blast with Monopoly Junior! Let’s get started by rolling the die and moving our tokens clockwise from GO. Remember, we always move forward, never backward.
- Oh, and don’t forget, every time we pass or land on the GO space, we collect $2! Cha-ching!
- But before we dive into the game, let’s take a moment to go over all the different spaces on the board. It’s good to know what to expect! If we land on an unowned space, here’s what happens:
An Unowned Space

If no one owns it, you gotta buy it! Here’s what you gotta do:
- Pay the Bank the amount written on the space.
- Stick one of your sold signs on the colored band at the top of the space so everyone knows it’s yours!
A Space That’s Already Owned
If another player owns it, you gotta pay them rent. The amount of rent is written on the board space. But if you’re the owner, you don’t have to do anything.

A Pair: Double the Rent!
Did you know that if you own both properties of the same color, you can make double the rent? It’s true!
Let’s Dive into the Board Spaces
Start at Go
When you pass or land on GO, you should always remember to collect A2 from the Bank. It’s a small but important rule in the game.
Chance

Alright, listen up! I’ve got a really cool game for you to play. It’s called Chance, and it’s the perfect way to have fun with your friends or family. Here’s how it works:
First, grab the top Chance card and give it a read. It’ll have some instructions for you to follow. Make sure you read it out loud so everyone knows what’s up.
Once you’re done with the card, put it back at the bottom of the pile. We want to keep things fair and random, after all!
Oh, and be careful not to get caught! If you land on the “Go to Jail” space, you’ll have to go straight to jail. You might have to miss a few turns, so try your best to avoid it!
So there you have it, the game of Chance. It’s a fun and unpredictable game that will keep you on your toes. Give it a try and see who comes out on top!

Well, this is a tricky situation. It seems I have landed myself in jail, and there’s no escaping it just yet. No passing “GO” for me, and definitely no collecting A2 either. I’ll have to wait until my next turn to make a move. My options are to pay A1 or use my Get Out of Jail Free card if I have one. Once I’ve settled that, it’s back to rolling the dice and moving forward like any other player. The good news is that even though I’m in jail, I can still collect rent from other players. So, I’m not completely out of the game just yet.
Just Visiting

If you find yourself here unexpectedly, don’t worry, you’re just visiting! And guess what? You won’t have to worry about parking either because it’s completely free. How awesome is that?
Tons of Fun

Take a break, don’t do anything else.
The Game Ends
If you can’t afford to pay rent, buy a property, or pay a fee from a Chance card, you’re bankrupt! That’s when the game comes to an end.
The other players count their money, and the player with the most money is declared the winner!
Tie? No problem! Calculate the value of your properties and add it to your overall wealth!
Ready for the Next Level?
Once you’ve mastered the basic rules, try playing the advanced version and see who comes out on top!
- If you can’t pay rent or a fine from a Chance card, use your own property to settle the debt.
- If you owe money to another player, they take ownership of your property. If you owe money to the Bank, your property goes back on the market.
- If you still can’t pay, you’re bankrupt, and the game is over. Everyone counts their cash to determine the ultimate winner!
