Winning a Hand: You need to be the first person to play all of your cards.

Getting Ready

Alright, let’s get started! Find a table or a flat surface, and place the Match’em play mat on it. The playmat has different sections for four players, as well as a draw deck in the middle.

Next, take the nine Game Chips and put them in the designated spots around the draw deck. Make sure to shuffle the cards thoroughly before each round.

Now, let’s play!

Deal five cards to each player, facedown. The remaining cards go in the center of the play mat. To decide who goes first, cut the deck and the player with the highest card starts.

If you have more than two players, the game moves in a clockwise direction. The first player chooses any card from their hand, flips it face-up, and places it in their play station. They also announce the total value of the card. Remember, each player should announce the total as they play their cards.

When playing this game, I need to match the total of the cards played by the first player. I can do this by using one or more cards that add up to the same total. I must make sure that I display the cards I have played for everyone else to see and count.
