Are you ready to embark on a thrilling adventure with the Elefun game? Hold on tight, because I’m about to take you on a wild ride. Today, we’re going to dive into the exciting world of Elefun and explore its fascinating rules.

First things first: let’s talk about the objective of the game. As you may have guessed, your mission is to catch as many fluttering butterflies as you can. Just like a real-life butterfly catcher, you’ll need to use your skills and quick reflexes to snatch those colorful critters out of the air.

Now, here’s how it all works. The star of the show is Elefun, a marvelous elephant with a trunk that blows out a playful swarm of butterflies. It’s a truly mesmerizing sight! You’ll need to set up the Elefun unit and get ready for the action.

Once you’ve got everything set up, it’s time to let the fun begin. You’ll take turns with your fellow players, as Elefun shoots butterflies into the air. As the butterflies flutter through the air, your task is to catch them using your butterfly nets.

But be warned, catching butterflies isn’t as easy as it sounds. Those fluttering creatures are agile and quick, darting and dodging around the room. You’ll need lightning-fast reflexes to snatch them out of the sky. It’s a challenge, but that’s what makes the game so thrilling!

As you’re chasing butterflies, you’ll need to keep an eye out for a special kind called the golden butterfly. These rare beauties are worth bonus points, so keep an eye out for them!

When all the butterflies have been released into the air, it’s time to count up your catch. Each butterfly you caught earns you a point, and if you managed to capture a golden butterfly, you’ll earn extra points. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins!

Now that you’re familiar with the rules, it’s time to gather your friends, set up Elefun, and get ready for an unforgettable adventure. So, are you ready to take on the challenge? Good luck, and may the butterflies be ever in your favor!

As I take a deep breath, something magical happens. Out of my trunk, which stretches 4 feet long, bursts a beautiful swarm of butterflies! Can you imagine trying to catch them all in your butterfly net? It’s quite a challenge, but oh so much fun!

What You’ll Need

• An ELEFUN body
• A plastic ring with a 4-foot trunk attached
• Four butterfly nets
• Four plastic handles and rims
• Thirty fluttering butterflies
• Instructions to guide you

How to Win

Your objective is simple: catch as many butterflies as you can!

Putting the Nets Together

1. First, flip the net handle over so that the word “ELEFUN” is facing downwards.
2. Next, take the unattached end of the rim and insert it into the opening at the top edge of the net. Then, slide the net all the way around the rim.
3. Once the net is in place, push it aside.
4. To complete the circle, lock the rim into the handle by following these steps:
   1. Slide the square end of the rim into the square hole in the handle;
   2. Press down on the rim to tilt up the end and continue pushing the rim past the narrow area. Eventually, you’ll be able to lower and lock it into the square hole.
5. Repeat these steps with the remaining nets.

Getting Ready

To remove the trunk, just put your hand around the plastic ring and lift it off. Remember not to pull the trunk itself. Next, gather all of the butterflies and place them inside the elephant’s head.

Now, press the wide plastic ring of the trunk down over the elephant’s nose opening. Make sure the ring is on straight and pushed down as far as it will go. You won’t need to screw or snap it in place, just give it a good push.

Once that’s done, place the elephant in the center of the play area, making sure there are no other objects around.

Now, each player should grab their butterfly net.

Now It’s Time to Play

Slide the ON/OFF switch to the ON position to turn Elefun on.

Lift up the trunk so that it fully extends and points straight up in the air. Remember to keep the trunk fully extended and open throughout the game.

Important note: Be sure to never cover the trunk opening with your net.

Okay, listen up! Here’s how the game works: we’re all playing at the same time, and we’ve got to catch those butterflies as they pop out of the trunk. You can even grab the butterflies that are already on the floor and drop them into your net. Let’s go!

How the Game Ends

The game comes to an end when the elephant has blown out all the remaining butterflies from its trunk.

To win the game, the elephant needs to blow out most of the butterflies within a span of 2 minutes. If any butterflies get stuck inside its head and cannot be blown out, you must turn the elephant off and end the game.

After turning off the elephant, it’s time to count the number of butterflies that each player has caught in their nets.

End of the Game

If you have caught the most butterflies, congratulations! You’re the winner! In case of a tie, play another round to determine the ultimate champion.

Troubleshooting

If the butterflies are not blowing out properly, try the following:

• Turn off the elephant and remove its trunk. Then, use your hand to mix up the butterflies inside.
• If this doesn’t solve the problem, consider changing the batteries.
• Remember that ELEFUN is designed to be played on the floor and may not work if lifted during the game.
